Best places to eat in DL for me (picky eater), dh and a three year old

We want to do mostly quick counter service meals at DL and CA b/c our three year old is 50/50 on whether or not he behaves in a restaurant. We are doing Goofy's Kitchen on arrival night and might try ESPN Zone one day for lunch. What places in DL and CA are good for a picky eater. I like pizza, chicken strips, mac & cheese, hot dogs and some pastas. Dh will eat anything and ds will eat basically the same as me, but he likes burgers too.

We really like pizza port in tomorrow land. The kids pasta meal(I get the white sauce, put you can get it with red sauce as well) is really good as are the salads. The kids meal comes with fruit and baby carrots and a drink. Dh likes the pizza, I dont think its great. The adult meals are huge and easy to share.

The hotdogs at refreshment corner on mainstreet are pretty good. The chili in a bread bowl is good there as well. If you like corndogs the little red wagon is fantastic, as is the corn dog castle in DCA.

For things like chicken strips (as well as fish and chips and fried cheese sticks) try the stage door next to the golden horse shoe in frontierland. The portions are huge and food is fresh. They have a choice of sauces.

The kids mac and cheese at the french market in NOS comes with fruit (we had strawberries and grapes).

We never seem to each much in DCA. The corn dog castle, as I mentioned is good. Taste pilots has decent burgers. I dont recomend the mexican food in DCA, its better in DL (larger portions and more selections for th same price).

Thanks so much! I think we'll be eating at DL for lunch twice and dinner twice. We will probably also eat dinner at CA once and lunch once. We may use one of those lunches for eating at DTD, probably ESPN Zone.

I will second Pizza Port in TL. My DD7 and I frequently share their Chicken Fusilli. It's very good. She also enjoys the pizza. The have a nice selection of salads too. Also, it's one of the few locations in DL where you can refill your soda.

Ditto the chicken strips at Stage Door Cafe. After all our trips to DL, we just had these for the first time a few times ago. Since then, my DD and I have shared them another time. I think you get 3 large chicken strips, along with steak cut fries. Very good.

If you want to try a sit-down, we ate at Wine Country Trattoria in DCA yesterday and had a really nice lunch. You can sit outside so if your DS acts up, it won't be as noticeable as in an inside restaurant. The prices are fair too, in fact, we found them to be just a little more than Pizza Port, and you get breadsticks with your meals. You'll have to add a little for tip, but we thought is was well worth it (in fact I posted a review on WCT today).
