Best Place to Watch for Dolphins?

I love dolphins and I've heard you can sometimes see them from the ship when you're leaving port. Should I look off the front of the ship or the back?

Definitely the bow as you leave the port.

We saw them port side forward as we were pulling out - this was December 14th.

This is good info to know, my daughter will be overwhelmed if she gets to see some dolphins in the sea.... She loves them!

You can also sometimes see them in the open ocean. On one of our sea days I was on Deck 4 and saw some "fish" off of the starboard side of the ship. Well...as we got closer I realized that they were actually dolphins! There were 4 of them swimming and jumping together. We passed them rather quickly, but I was lucky to have my camera on hand and got a couple of pictures.
