Best Place to watch Electrical Parade?

Any recommendations on where to watch the Electrical Parade from?

Jennifer,
The first time we saw it, we watched from down by Golden Dreams, towards the end of the run. Very few people there, and a few spots to sit.
We've watched from the entry area, by Engine-Ears Toys....there are chairs and tables nearby, that if you get there early enough, you can sit. There are some spots there, though, where people can stand in fromt of you and block your view, and others where they can't, due to areas being roped off...so look around at least an hour ahead.
We have also watched from an area just outside the Golden Vine Winery, again, not as many people as near the entry, but nowhere to sit.
Of course, it was nice to sit at a table, but someone else waited the hour for it...I don't have the patience for that. The streets are narrow, so it is a very up-close and personal experience no matter where you are... I guess I liked the area by Golden Dreams the best. I think this year, we'll go all the way toward the end of the parade, by Golden Zephyr and Jumpin Jellyfish, to see how it looks from there. I seem to remember places to sit over there.

My wife and I sat on the ground actually by the San Francisco area looking out towards the water (not sure what it's called). It was in the entryway to that section but we sat along the parade route as close as we could. We actually got lucky because they seemed to have slowed down the parade at one point and the little animals turned around several times in just our one spot and were making the strange noises and moving their heads up and down. Then the parade started moving faster again. We enjoyed sitting on the ground because they looked so much bigger. I have to see this show everytime I go

We've watched it both from the Vineyard balcony (obstructed view due to trees) and from the ground in front of Golden Dreams and really prefer the ground spot. Few people and if you go across and stand by the garden railing there is only one row of people allowed there. You can sit on the rail or the ground and have an unobstructed view!

We went to the parade at Disney's Calif. Adventure (DCA) last year and sat on some benches near the park entrance. i beleive there is a fountain right accross the way. We got ice cream nearby and ate our ice cream while we waited. We had great fun, and a fine view. Enjoy the park!

Even during busy times, it seems that it is easy to get a good spot without having to invest a lot of time. We watched it from around the winery a couple of days ago (Christmas break). There were front row spots available just minutes before the parade started. This is close to Sunshine Plaza, but not as crowded. It is close enough to the entrance that we were able get out quickly afterwards and make it back to the Disneyland Hotel to watch the fireworks from our room. There are lots of bench spots, but they fill up an hour or so before the parade. One night we sat on the Bugs Life side, and had a great view of the parade coming.
