Best place to view Wishes

We will be staying at the Poly for our upcoming trip. Our first night we will not be going to one of the parks but would like to see Wishes. We are planing on eating at Narcooses that night. Would it be best to view Wishes from the beach at the Poly or see it from outside Narcooses?

I have viewed wishes from both Narcoosees and the Poly. I prefer the Poly as I think it offers a better view and I loved watching from the beach.

Of all the places we have seen Whishes, I think sitting on the beach at the poly was the best. Of corse you must do Main Street or from the rooftop of the contemporary at California at least once, but the poly gives a much more relaxed sense, especially after a long day of travel.

Unlikely. The music has played there for years, despite occasional reports to the contrary. It can be difficult to hear depending on where you watch from.

At the Poly, the audio from the MK fireworks (at a low volume level) comes from speakers near the beach sidewalk.
Most guests watch from a spot far removed from the beach sidewalk.

You can hear it, but it's quiet. I've watched it from the beach at the Poly a few times in the past few months.

Narcoosees is closer, but the view is to the side. Poly is further, but closer to show center. If the villas weren't there, Poly would be my recommendation. With them, it's a coin flip at best.

The poly beach used to be magical. I haven't watched since the bungalows though.

Thanks for your honest answer. I am thinking Narcoosees may be a little bit better experience because I believe you can hear the music better but it may actually be cool to see the fireworks from behind the Villias. It may set for an interesting background. Might have to try and fit in both lol!!!
