Best place to view Wishes?

Is there such a thing? Or does it not matter? Our first day of vacation is 9/16 Saturday, and we'll be the idiots entering the park around 4:00, LOL!! I was thinking of making ADRs at Chef Mickeys, but understand we'd have to walk or take the monorail to Contemporary, so maybe it's not such a good idea to get to MK late, leave for CM's, and then return for Wishes in one late evening?

Our other choice would be to see Wishes on Sept 18th after dinner at Crystal Palace.

Is Wishes the best fireworks and not to be missed? Everyone keeps talking about watching your kids' faces during Wishes for a LIFETIME memory, so it must be GREAT!

Thanks for any advice!

I have a secret place not many people use, not sure if I want to share, but... when you're in front of the castle, there's a walkway to Tomorrowland on your right. If you head that way, a few feet in, there's a walkway to your right that goes back around along the waterway there - take the walkway and turn to face the castle about midway down it, and you can stand there away from the crowds and see it perfectly!!
I've also been told that some people enjoy the show from behind the castle near the Dumbo ride.
No matter where you are, it's an amazing show, not to be missed!!!

I agree with the secret path - or the tomorrow land bridge - but under no account should you watch it by Dumbo!!!!! I did that last trip and it nearly ruined my whole holiday!!!

You have been warned :)
