Best place to stay at OKW

Hi we are off on our first DVC trip to WDW in July. My DW and I would welcome any suggestions on what would be the best studio to ask for.

We would like to be close to the centre of the resort, close to the bus stop and have a water view.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I usually request the Turtle Pond pool area. There is a lovely quiet pool there, with a snack bar. There are some golf course views, bus stop is convenient, and it is a very relaxing location.

We generally request Hospitality House Area---I like 27,28,29 or (I can't remember the no.) where the Commodore House was (That was the original place for DVC sales staff).

I like to be within walking distance to the main pool, busses, general store and Olivia's. Although almost anywhere is really within walking distance --- sometime a LONG distance, but still do-able.......You will be fine where ever you are so ENJOY yourselves.

Our family agrees with both CarolAnnK and WOW. We ask first to be by Turtle Crawl. We love the "laid back" feel. We usually try to do wash while we swim.....it's very easy and typically as crowed at this laundry by the hospitality house. However, we also ask to be by the hospitality house as a second option. In about a dozen visits, we have always ended up very close to one of our choices.
