Best place to stay around Hollywood ?

Where would be the best place and not spend a fortune around the Hollywood area. Thanks Ron.

We stayed at The Magic Castle Hotel. Converted apartments. Clean rooms & excellent staff. Walking distance to H &H Mall, Grauman's etc. We also went next door to the Magic Castle Club and that was fun.

We are staying at the Orchid Suites as the rates are low and the reviews on Tripadvisor are good. The hotel is just behind the Chinese Theatre.

We booked The Magic Castle Hotel for 2 nights from May 22-24.

Best place... Days Inn Hollywood at 5410 Hollywood Blvd - 69/nt - clean, restaurant on site (and its DIRT CHEAP! 3.95 for a cheesburger and fries!), grocery store across the street....and the best part it is on the metro line. 2 stops to the main drag of hollywood. Its very very clean and gets good reviews on tripadvisor. Free brekkie (basic cereal stuff) and nice pool. We swear by this place when on a budget! www.daysinnhollywood.com

We stayed at the Renaissance. It was amazing and right in the middle of everything. I think the rate was around $160/night. Would defninitely do it again.
