Best place to sell MVMCP Tickets

We did have a Disney Trip scheduled for WDW next month over T-giving. Unfortunately, certain life events happened and DH's company let him go at the beginning of this month. THere is just no way that we can afford to go on our trip now when we need to conserve money as much as possible until he has another job.

We had purchased our Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets when they went on sale in May. Now we are unable to use them and I'd like to try to sell them and re-coup some of the money we spent on them. They are for Nov 29th and we have 4 adult tix and 2 children.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can sell these (online) and if using something like eBay, has anyone had experience doing that?

Call Disney and explain the situation. Quite often a sympathetic CM can help you get a refund if you return the tickets to them.

Thanks, I think I will try that. I have the tickets and the receipt/invoice they sent with them in our fireproof safe. So I can return them. If that doesn't work then I think I'll ebay them. I noticed today on eBay that there were some for sale for Nov and they are 2 adult tix and are already at $100 with almost 2 days to go on the auction, so even at that price, they are re-couping most of the money spent on the 2 adult tickets and I can always put a reserve on them if I think I need to.

I would call customer service and explain the honest truth. My friend had the same thing happen last year and they refunded her the full amount, they were really great about it. Technically they are non-transferable so I would not try that route. Good luck, so sorry you can't go. We had a Dec. trip planned and had to cancel for financial considerations as well. Keep smiling!

I agree, best to call Disney first. I have found, in the past, that even things that say "non-refundable" can be refunded given the right circumstances and some patience.
