Best place to retire??

Hey everyone! I was just wondering what is a great place to retire? My dad is planning on retiring by early next year and he wants to move to a place that has warm weather. He hasn't figured out where yet, so I was just wondering if any of you had some suggestions? Thanks =)!!

My inlaws have been talking about Arizona. I'm not sure where in the state, but I think it's a popular retirement area.

There's always Florida, of course. My wife's grandmother had a place in Vero Beach, and really liked it.

I would consider Arizona, New Mexico or possibly Gulf Shores, Alabama

would be the only 2 places I'd love to retire too!

I'd love to retire to Scottsdale or Tuscon, but I wouldn't be able to handle the summers.

We've also talked about Nevada often.
