Thinking of a quick trip next February just DS and me - no kids:cool1:.
Planning to play golf and explore the coastline but can't imagine not visiting Disney or Universal/IOA at least once each.

Where is the best place to purchase one or two day passes? Have seen the ticket booths along IDrive but am a little unsure of them? Any advice welcome, thanks.

My thoughts in this thread about buying out there. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2551080

For 1 and 2 day tickets you can rarely find cheaper than direct with the parks. Most agents charge a surcharge on Disney tickets below 3 days, discounts are not given until 3 day+ tickets.
Link here to give you an idea, it lists gate price against their discounted prices.

Universal most sellers only offer a very small ($1-2) discount on 1 day tix http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/universal_studios_tickets.htm

Thanks for your fast response Wayneg.
That is pretty much what I thought the answer would be. I am happy to pay the gate price for what we want rather than risk the IDrive booths or pay out for way more days than we will actually use.

At Universal only chance you can have of a good discount is if you can get friendly with an Annual pass holder, some months of the year we can get 50% off for friends & family. Last time we took my Mother in law we got her a 1 day 2 park ticket for half price.

Has anybody used Maple Leaf lately?

Their 6 park Orlando flex ticket is coming out at about £20 cheaper than the average £ site, but I'm not sure if they're valid for 2011. :confused3

Please think twice before using the ticket booths along I Drive. Do some research on mousesavers.com and get information about UndercoverTourist.com and MapleLeaf among others. But, buyer beware when buying from ticket booths.

For next year I would wait and see what offers are available nearer the time, See post #4 in this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2551080 for this year its cheaper to buy the tickets seperate than all in 1 x 6 park ticket.
