Best place to purchase an AP?

I need it for check in but hesitate to purchase it at Disney Store local, where would I get it activated? I want to go to Epcot on the day I arrive and do not want to have to go all the way to DTD to have it activated? I heard the airport stores sell them, but are afraid our towncar person cannot wait for me to purchase it... suggestions?

you can activate an AP at any ticket window at wdw. no need to go all the way to DTD. we bought our at the local disney store. you can also purchase them online. good luck!

I've decided the best place to purchase our APs is online, so my BF won't see how much they cost.

Here's some info from allears about how to get APs. Hope it helps!

The following places will send you a voucher for your AP/PAP. This voucher must be exchanged for the actual pass at any WDW ticket window or Guest Relations window or at the Guest Relations offices at Downtown Disney or Downtown Disney West Side:

* - by calling 407-WDISNEY

The following places will sell you an activated AP/PAP. No exchanging required:

* - Any WDW major park ticket window
* - Guest Relations at the major parks or at Downtown Disney and West Side
* - The Ocala Disney Information Center on I-75 in Ocala, FL
* - Disney's EarPort at Orlando International Airport (2 locations)
* - Character Warehouse at Belz Mall 2 in Orlando
* - Character Premiere at Belz Mall 1 in Orlando
* - Character Premiere at Orlando Premium Outlets Mall in Lake Buena Vista


Where and how do I activate the voucher?

To activate the voucher, turn the voucher and a photo ID into the Guest Relations window at either the Magic Kingdom, Epcot (either front or International Gateway side), Disney-MGM Studios, the Animal Kingdom, or either Guest Relations office at Downtown Disney. You cannot activate your voucher at a WDW resort Guest Services. You can now purchase a new AP or activate the voucher at any WDW major park ticket location, not just at Guest Relations. This may be a good option if you're doing this at off peak times of the day. It may still be a good bet to use Guest Relations during the park opening rush.

TIP - There is only one place off property where you can exchange your voucher. That is at the Ocala Information Center in Ocala, Florida. This is run by Disney's Guest Relations. They can also make resort reservations for you there.

TIP - The Guest Relations Window at Epcot's World Showcase is generally MUCH less crowded than other Park Guest Relations windows
