Any tips on the best place to order groceries from? We are looking for quick breakfast items and alcohol for the room.

We've used garden grocer for on arrival. They delivered it early on the day we were to arrive so Bell services just held it aside until we arrived. Worked well but I don't remember them being that cheap.

If best equals least expensive, we rent a car for the day for our stays.

Does the price difference really offset the cost of the car though?

Is there actually anyone other than Garden Grocer that delivers to WDW resorts? I only ever see them mentioned.

We can get a car for $30, that allows us to shop where we want, when we want. We can eat a meal off-site. Depending on what you are buying, tipping the company that you are buying from, tipping bell services, it all adds up. At GG we bought in addition to the regular food we bought a small beef roast. The label on the roast was from Target and they marked up the price $10.

You have to do the numbers and you need to pick a Disney authorized company if you want them to leave the order at bell services. GG is "approved" and many use them.

I have used garden grocer once and Wegoshop three times. Both were fine, but last time with Wegoshop, they did not drop off until almost 11 pm.

We have used Garden Grover and they were fine but we had a few times where we had issues with not getting everything we ordered. If you are only needing a few thing though, you might just want to look at your resort's store.

We always use Garden Grocer. I schedule the delivery time for right before our flight lands so that they're waiting for us at Bell Services. This way we don't have to waste half a day with getting a rental & shopping offsite etc. You just have to send them a copy (scanned) of your drivers license for any alcoholic beverages. May cost more than at home but still saves a ton over what you'd pay in the DVC stores for like items.

We have used Garden Grocer a few times. We have had some minor mistakes, with missing items and receiving items we did not order, but they remedied those problems quickly and we have had great service from them. I like that they have an app and I can save favorites in my account on their website. That definitely makes ordering very easy every time we visit. Plus, they give a small discount for ordering 60-days in advance. I don't mind paying a small premium for the convenience of having food delivered.

I've used Garden Grocer 3-4 times.....switched to WeGoShop. Just booked them for the 5th time. Happy with them.

We use Whole foods. It's a flat rate delivery fee. You go to your local store and make a list of everything you want and email it to the Orlando store delivery team. The quality was fantastic, especially if you are ordering produce or have any food allergies. You can basically order anything a normal wholefoods stocks.

I'm the ultimate in lazy. We drive down (2 days), and last year I ordered from GG. In the past, we'd arrive at AKL around 2-3 pm. I'd park DH and the kids at the pool, then go grocery shopping. Inevitably I'd hit that late day summer downpour just as I was either loading/unloading groceries. Then I'd unload everything and cook dinner. Last year, I relaxed at the pool while GG did the shopping. Everything was well-packed, and fresh. I'm definitely a convert!

This is what we usually do. DH is not sure if he wants to do that on our next trip. The up side if we do rent we can find cheap spots for souvenirs.

used garden grocer for the first time and we were impressed. Sure, it may be a little more expensive but it's a nice convienence. we will use again for sure

Has anyone tried Uber? No renting a car, go when you want.
I have. We were at OKW for 1 night before switching to BLT. OKW is really close to a Goodings just outside of Disney Springs. There's a waffle house there too. I had uber give me a ride there and when I was in the checkout line I requested an uber ride back. Roundtrip total was $13 and change.

I'm sure there are cheaper places to buy stuff than Goodings but it's very close making for an "uber" cheap Uber lol. Our summer trip we're at the beach club and the fare estimate is about double what it was from OKW. Wife asked how much to get to waffle house for breakfast (we don't have waffle house in NJ) but unless we're getting groceries too, I'd just as well go to Olivia's by Disney transportation over waffle house.

We used Shipt in December after using a signup promo of $49 for the year...their deal is that after that initial fee, you get free shipping on every order at $35 or more. They don't do alcohol yet as far as I know. We had a poor experience with our first order, spent an hour and a half dealing with it, and we're happy with the resolution. The substitute order was perfectly done. I think there are some growing pains there, but we plan to use them again in a few weeks and for the rest of the trips this year.

Where do you find the fare estimates?? I am currently trying to figure out if uber, wegoshop, garden grocer, or amazonprime now would be better for us.

Has anyone tried grocery.walmart.com? You can purchase online and reserve a time slot to pick up. I'm going to try it for my July trip.
