Hey all, heading to DLP for a weekend in mid August with my husband, 2 boys and my 4 y/o girl who is princess mad!

Where's are the best places and times to meet Princesses in the parks?

Thanks for any info.

Aladdin and Jasmine are usually in Adventureland between 11.30 and noon (if the weather is fine, they will be just outside the Aladdins passage attraction).

If you don't want to pay a lot of money for the Auberge de Cendrillon Princess lunch, then usually your only other option for a meet n greet with the Princesses is at the Castle stage (the exact times are posted in the leaflet you get when you arrive, or you can check the Disney site for the current times, as they should be about the same).

The princess meet n greet gets enormous queues, and you can't guarantee which princess you will meet. They change over every 30 minutes or so throughout the time span.

The princesses are also on the Parade, and if you watch the Parade outside the Bella Notte restaurant, and close to IASW, you will see them come off the float and dance. If you're in the right place, one of them may come over to say hello.

You can also get up very close to Sleeping Beauty in her little show behind the Castle. If your DD particularly likes Sleeping Beauty, this is a lovely little show to watch. Not much chance of a photo or autograph though.

You can meet Princesses at the Royal Castle Stage from 13.30 to 16.30 or in the Restaurant "L'Auberge de Cendrillon'' in Fantasyland from 12.00 to 17.00 and 18.00 from 22.00

On the Castle Stage, you'll see two couples of Princes and Princesses
and in the Restaurant, you'll see Cinderella, Suzy & Perla and three couples of Princes and Princesses ( it depends of the cast)

You can see Princess Aurora and Prince Philipp at 17.00 for the "Once Upon a Time with Sleeping Beauty" show in Castle Courtyard

And of course, you can see them in the Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade at 19.15 and in the Disney's Fantillusion Parade at 22.25

Going from that then, I'm guessing the meet and greets with the Princesses are completely different times during peak summer season from other times?

Sorry to have confused you mmtdevlin.

Omg have just looked at the pdf schedule for the summer season - Captain Jack Sparrow has actual times when you can meet him !!!! (not "appearing from time to time")

elaine - i just saw that too!!!!!!!!! does that mean that jack sparrow will get a permanent meet n greet, or do u think its just for the summer??? (maybe they cud do it for xmas too?? lol)

as for other times, ur leaflet u get when u go thru will have the accurate meet n greet times for princesses, so best with that.....

BUT - do all princesses do the meet n greet on the stage, as i only ever saw cinderella & snow white in rotation???

AND, aurora did sign autographs after the sleeping beauty show when we were there too! (except ds1 got pushed out of the way by girls lol)

We saw Cinderella and Aurora at the castle stage, and my niece got Ariel and Snow White there.

Hi -

we met Aurora/sleeping beauty with her prince and Ariel with hers in the general character meet/greet area outside the Pizzeria Belle Notte.. they were not listed, but appeared along with Prince John+Friar Tuck from Robin Hood, Tweedle dum/dee and Tigger - really odd combo - but meant the kids got a lot of unusual pics/autographs. Had just walked that way after meeting Alice and the mad hatter at the character spot nearby.

This post makes me happy. I was under the impression that the only really sure fire way to see princesses was during the character meal. I'm glad there will be other options. It's all about the princesses for our girls!

We queued at the centre stage to meet the princesses. We didnt know who we would get.

We joined the queue at 9:30am during EMH and by the time the park officially opened at 10am the queue was getting long. We were only 3rd or 4th in the queue.

We saw Cinderella and later that day the princess was Belle (in her yellow dress) but the queue was miles long by then!

One afternoon we walked round to the Casey Junior Train Ride and we saw Ariel and Alice with no-one around them! That was brilliant to get up close with photos and autographs without the mad push.

Hope you get to meet your fave

xx
