I have a 7 year old daughter that of course wants to see the princesses and I want pics. We are not doing the CRT, (we're doing Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace). so I was wondering where are the best places in the parks to see the Princesses?

I would suggest the Princess Room in the character tent (blue and white striped roof) in Toontown. Usually Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora are there. Ariel is in her Grotto in Fantasyland.

I second Toon Town. Princesses' are wonderful here, spend a good amount of time interacting. DD3 was struck speechless and they were so good with her, got a lump in my throat just watching. Truly a magical disney moment.

We were there in the evening, around 8 pm and only waited a few minutes.

The Toontown Princess room is great. We meet Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty and they were all wonderful!

I suggest going around dinnertime, like after 6pm, Toontown seems to clear out quite a bit then.

Ariel's Grotto is also good and don't miss Belle's Storytime in her garden by the castle! Get there about 15-20 minutes before it starts and you should get a front row seat. Or a seat on the wall on the right side is a really good spot too. Belle signs autographs and pictures afterward.

When we were there in January Beauty and the Beast were across from the perfume shop in France and Cinderella was just outside to the right in the courtyard sitting on the edge of a flower bed. There was no line for either one. In fact they looked bored and perked up when my GD approached them. She was able to spend all the time she wanted with them because no one was around. She also got to talk to Snow White over in Germany, but there was a line there as she was on the main throughfare between Germany and China. In May, I again saw Belle and Cinderella in France--both were just outside the perfume store again in the courtyard to the right. Esmerelda was also there, by the way--again with either no lines or a very short line of 2-4 people.

I agree with the previous posts. In addition, when MK opens in the morning the characters are there available for autographs. We were able to get some Princess time at the opening. If you are willing to consider one extra Character Meal, you should consider the Princess Breakfast at Norway (akerhaus(?)). We did it last year as we couldn't get CRT and were not disappointed at all. You have 5(?) Princesses walking the restaurant and they do spend time with the children. The food was pretty good also.

We did the toon town thing, (Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora) Lunch in Norway (Jasmine, Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel) and found Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie together near Morocco, Belle and Beast NEAR France, SnowWhite in Germany, and Mulan in China. Pocahontas has a show in AK but does not do autographs. Hope this helps!!

That was exactly what I was going to say! The biggest suprise was Belle and Beast in France. There is a little room off the perfume store in Epcot where they occasionally pop up. No one else was there, it's kind of tucked away. Remember you can always ask a CM when and where you can find a certain princess, they usually have great tips!

We saw Sleeping Beauty at Epcot by the back entrance (boat entrance). And also as mentioned above, Beauty and the Beast in front of Paris.

At MK, you can see Jasmine in Adventureland.

Good luck!

Hi!

If you can get ressies I would recommend CRT for Breakfast. You can meet with each princess and they really spend time to ineract with the kids. I had my son's 7th birthday at CRT this July and all three boys loved it...even though they won't admit it.. :rotfl2:

World Showcase in EPCOT is one of my favorite spots to find the Princesses. I've usually seen Belle and Princess Aurora in France, Jasmine in Morocco, and Snow White in Germany. Because their locations are a little hidden (usually somewhere in the back of the pavillion or inside a room), the lines here are much shorter than at the other parks. The Princess room at Toontown is also a great place to find a few and Ariel's Grotto in Fantasyland is the place to find Ariel outside of the Norway lunch and dinner. Because the locations are so popular and lines can get long, you'll want to hit these as soon as they open. Toontown usually opens at 10am and Ariel's Grotto at either 9:30am or 10.

When you first enter MK the first building on the right is Exposition Hall(where they sell film and scrapbook stuff) if you go in there sometimes Cindrella is in the back usally no line. Jasmine and Aladin are tucked away in a corner by the flying carpets. Toontown is great too but good timing is key as the lins can get very long at peak times. We have waited over 30 minutes and then they rush you once you get in the room with the charaters. When it is slower they let you take your time. And sometimes the lines close earlier than the park so don't expect to be able to get in line after 7:30 - 8:00

At MGM under the big blue hat they come out in groups for about 20 minutes - they switch around between 2 groups - one group Minnie Mouse, Donald, Pooh, Chip and Dale and Goofy etc the other group is Belle, Beast, Meg, Mary Poppins and others. The characthers spread out to different areas in front of the hat. There is about 6 or 7 differnt autograph lines per group.

Instead of the CRT have you thought of doing the Princess breakfast in Norway. You see Jasmine, Mulan, Snow White, Auora, Pochantas and sometimes a couple of the Princes. Also, at the Grand Floridain 1900 Park Fare breakfast is Mary Poppins with special guests which can be princesses. It is an easy character meal to get a PS and a fun place. We went there in 10/2004 on the day we were going to MNSSHP as a break from being in the park ALL day. princess:

Have a magical day

I spent one day going through the World Showcase by myself since the rest of my family wanted to go to Typhoon Lagoon...I was so surprised to find Mary Poppins in England, Belle and Beast and Aurora in France, Pinocchio and Gepetto in Italy, Jasmine and Genie in Morroco, Snow White in Germany and a character busload in Japan stopped as I walked by. There was Captain Hook, Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie, Donald Duck and Pluto. I purchased a pen and autograph book and had my picture taken with the characters and it was a really fun time. The lines are short to meet the characters...all you have to look for is a little red sign with a white mickey mouse glove on it and you will discover where the characters are hiding around world showcase. My son had wanted to meet characters in the Magic Kingdom, but the waits were soooo long we decided it wasn't worth the time.

Oh! I forgot about Epcot! Duh!!!

We saw Aurora outside the perfume shop too and Belle.

Also if you go into the perfume shop, there is a cute room that is
Belle's library. I got a great picture of my niece at her stained glass window in there. We also saw Mulan and there weren't many people around at all.

The princesses in Epcot are a great way to bribe your little one to go around the World Showcase. :rotfl:

I just wanted to add a quick story from our last trip in Nov. 04. We were walking past China in EPCOT when we spotted Mulan meeting and greeting on the main walkway. There were only a couple of kids waiting and my DD4 is a big Mulan fan, so we got in line. Suddenly, the skies opened up and it started to pour, Mulan apologized and ran for cover! Needless to say, my DD was crushed. So I suggested we try to find Mulan.

As we made our way through the China Pavilion searching for Mulan, she spotted us first. She was inside the building where the China movie is shown and we did not see her. She came outside and invited us in to visit with her, chatting up my DD the whole time! It really was a great experience for her, she still talks about it today! :flower:

So, I agree that EPCOT can be a GREAT place to see the princesses (we also saw Snow White and Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie, without even trying). The MK and MGM are great too, but the lines always seem longer. We have also seen Pocohontas outside of the AK at opening and closing. So the princesses are everywhere. And you can't go wrong with either princess breakfast, IMHO.

Have fun! :Pinkbounc
