Where is the best place to your nails done before the wedding in the Disney resort. Believe it or not I have never gotten a manicure so I know nothing. How many days before the wedding should I get them done? Do I need to make an appointment, do they take them this early out for my wedding March 18th?

i just got married at disney in august. i booked my appointments in april, so its not to early. i choose coronado springs beauty shop, i cant remember the exact name.they were fantastic, i got them down the day before the wedding, it was just a relaxing experience. highly recommend them.

Thanks for the info. Do you know about how much they charged?

I also used JoAnn at Coronodo Springs Resort Spa for my manicure the day before my Wedding. She was fantastic. I think I paid $30 for a French Manicure which is more expensive. I would also recommend booking it now.

I had a fabulous manicure and pedicure at the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin. It was gorgeous, peaceful and perfect. If I were a DFTW bride, I would definitely go there - esp if I were in the Epcot resort area. If time were of the essence and I were in the MK resort area, I would probably go to the Grand Floridian Spa. I've been there too (just pedi, about 6 years ago) but it was really nice, too. :)

I do not recommend the Grand Floridian Spa for a mani/pedi. It was a fortune and the paint peeled right off. I had them done the day before the wedding and the day of the wedding I had two nails without paint!

I did get a fantastic massage there though!

Does anyone know where I can find info on what hotels offer manicures/pedicures and what their prices are? I tried disney.com, but they don't list the prices for places that aren't full service spas.
Thanks. :wave2:

Ok, I decided between the salon at the Corando Springs or the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin. I have never gotten a manicure/pedicure done before so do I splurge and go to the spa or go the cheaper route? I need advise. Part of me just wants to splurge since I am doing so much to save money everywhere else.

I know I'm the one who suggested Mandara, but I have so say go for it again! To sit in the massaging chair, to relax under the palm trees and have the aestheticians bring you a cup of your choice of Tazo teas or water or flavored water is worth it. Especially, since you haven't done one before - splurge!

I want to go right now!

Thanks for the info. I am still trying to find info for other places on property to compare prices- hard to find!

I had mine done at Periwigs at the Yacht & Beach club resorts.
I had a manicure and pedicure and it cost me $105.
It was perfect and apart from my nails needed a file they lasted a month!! absolutely perfect. Best manicure I ever had!

I used the GF spa and was not too impressed. For my wedding i am going to the Mandara. I have not been so can not give a revaie but it is a chain that is in some very swanky resorts and the interior looks gorgeous it is asian/bali themed- very exotic!
