Best Place to Get Beco 4th Gen Carrier?

I am looking into getting a Beco 4th Generation carrier. Can anyone tell me of a good website to find one? I found one on ebay but it was pink and that will not do for DS.

Of course I would like to save as much as possible.

I read recently that the 4th gen Beco isn't goingot be sold for much longer..you may be able to find one easier on the FSOT board on http://www.thebabywearer.com/


I have to also recommend this carrier though..they are THE MOST comfortable carriers i have ever tried, and you can use the buckles OR take them of and just tie them like a regilar Mei Tei... http://hyenacart.com/blookangaroo/index.php?c=20 they are a bit more than the Beco, but i LOVE mine!

Thanks so much for all the replies... I am brand new to baby wearing but thought I would need it for our upcoming trip.

Can the beco be used with the baby forward facing in the front? If not can anyone suggest another ssc carrier?

I don't think the baby can be worn forward-facing on the front in most sscs. (Beco, Ergo, Papatum, etc.) It has to do with how the child is seated in the carrier, vs "hanging" like in a Bjorn or a Snuggli.

I didn't get mine until my DD was older than your DS, but my DD loved the back carry -- and we loved our Ergo for WDW. (See avatar <---- ) Good luck!

I am new to it too, I have been doing some 'research'. I just bought my first carrier, an Olives and Applesauce one - and I can't wait to get it, everyone that has one seems to love it. www.olivesandapplesauce.com - I got mine off of thebabywearer.com 'for sale or trade' forum. Another one recommended to me is the Angel Pack LX or APLX or the Calyx... there are so many it's overwhelming !!

There are lots of reviews and comparisons in those forums, helped me to get the best carrier for me, it was a huge help.
