You are the first person to say they were good, if it was off the roof of the gingerbread house. I didn't try one cuz everyone says they were too hard. Maybe I should reconsider this trip...

This wasn't off the roof, it was in cellophane. I just bought inside the gingerbread house thing.

We LOVE the gingerbread Mickeys in the Main St. Confectionery shop. Make a point to stop in there a few times each trip because they are so yummy! Very soft and the ears are dipped in chocolate

We dont like the GF shingles either.

We just bought a mickey face one from the gingerbread house at the Beach Club. It was soft, but we didnt care for the flavor of the gingerbread.

I know the boardwalk bakery sells something too. These both are decorated with chocolate on top.

I bought the gingerbread mix with the mickey cutter but havent tried it yet.

The shingles aren't really gingerbread, they are lebkuchen.
I didn't really like them. I like my gingerbread to have a littel bite back.......and they were expensive.
Shingles just had chocolate bottoms, I didn't see any decorated and they weren't on the list. I just asked for a shingle and that is what she gave me.

Main Street Bakery and Goofy's Candy shop in DTD...they have the best gingerbread men, soft sweet and spicy. DO NOT get them from the gingerbread houses in the resorts because it is not the same, they are spongy and nasty tasting..full of honey and no spice.

We got one of the shingles once and it was soft for sure (ours was), but DISGUSTING. Very bland. In our opinions. None of us liked it so we threw it away.

FYI - they have gingerbread reindeer cookies for ice cream sandwiches at the ice cream shop in Epcot/FW. It looked interesting, but I don't like gingerbread.

They carry them year round and I always get a dozen and stick them in a tupperware container at the resort lol

The shingles with the chocolate bottoms are delicious! Great to dunk in coffee or tea.

Also, I highly recommend the linzer cookies at the gingerbread house in the Contemporary. Fabulous.

Ditto!! The Mickey Gingerbread men are the BEST. Super soft..perfect combo of spice and sweet..and the best part is the ears dipped in chocolate. HEAVENLY. We get them whenever we are in the World - but we did have a really tough time finding them when we were there during the Holidays - sold out most everywhere we went. When we finally found them at Goofy's in DTD, we bought enough to save a few for breakfast the next day.
