Hi all,

Where is the best place to have a meal to meet the characters? and is there a particular time of day which is best?

Many thanks :)

xx

You have a choice of cafe mickey or inventions or the cowboy cookout. We have really enjoyed cafe mickey in the past and have seen 8-10 characters each time but some people going more recently have said there have been fewer characters. Inventions is very expensive and only has characters at dinner time. We are going to try it this trip instead of cafe mickey. We didn't have a good meal at the cowboy cookout but lots of people have had a great time there, cowboy cookout is basically a counter service restaurant so is cheaper. If you are there on a Sunday there is a character brunch at the steakhouse but I don't know much about it.

Or Auberge if you want princess interaction!

We did Auberge and Inventions Sunday brunch in Feb - both were wonderful, but very expensive. Aurberge we met 3 princesses and 1 prince, plus the mice and went for 12pm so we could be first in. Inventions, again we went for opening at 1pm, and met Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale and Rapunzel and Flynn!

In August we will be doing both again, plus Cafe Mickey and possibly Cowboy Cookout!

rosebug, can i ask what was the food like at the sunday brunch, was it worth the price? and are drinks included in this? was looking for recent reviews of this and couldnt really find any! thanks.

sorry, just after realising it was inventions brunch u mentioned, i'm thinking of steakhouse sunday brunch!! not much info on it at all!

thanks for that link, hadnt seen that thread! the recent reports for the steakhouse on trip advisor werent great, couldnt seem to find many recent reports of the sunday brunch in particular though! may have to consider inventions instead...!

Inventions Sunday Brunch was very nice, food was lovely (very seafood heavy though), the restaurant itself is very relaxing and the characters were brilliant.

There are some photos of our Sunday Brunch in my TR link in my signature:

Thanks for all your help!! :)

Is there a way to see the menu and prices for auberge and inventions?

xx

We pre-booked for Inventions at 1800 last Friday. We had Mickey, Goofy (Dingo), Pluto, Chip & Dale and Mr Mistopheles and they all came to all tables at least twice by the time we left at 2000.
