I can't visit AK without eating something at Flame Tree BBQ, even if it isn't mealtime !!!

I enjoy Tusker house in africa!!! Yummy turkey wrap that I had with the corn chowder and cheese cake. It is a great cs value and dd and I usually share it. She eats half the wrap and half the cheese cake. I get the soup, poor kid doesnt like soup yet, and doesnt know what she is missing!!!!! We like Pizzafari. I don't really like Pizza but the kids & DH do. I love the hot italian style sandwich. I always get the caeser salad & tomatoes on the side and add them myself onto the sandwich. They tend to be wilted if you don't do that but I love this sandwich. Mmmmmmmm

We really like the Tusker House, but have never eaten at Flametree. We'll have to try it next time!

Tusker House is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

IMO, AK is blessed with the best counter service restaurants in all the parks. Perhaps this is because there really is no table service option (other than Rainforest, which really isn't a Disney restaurant).

Its always a battle to decide between Tusker, Flaming Tree, and (to a lesser extent, but still pretty good), Pizzafari. You can't miss on any of them, and the decision should probably be made by what type of food you crave at the moment.

I vote for Tusker House. I ate at Flame Tree a long time ago and it didn't "wow" me but that's probably because where I used to live we had easy access to fabulous barbeque. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the counter service restaurants in Animal Kingdom.

Another vote for Tusker House although I agree AK does have the best CS options available so wherever you choose will be great

If you do try Pizzafari dont go when a Lion King show is due to end 'cos its really close & will get busy

Another vote for the hot deli sandwich at Pizzafari. I've never tried getting the caesar salad on the side. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the idea!
