MY BIRTHDAY!:cool1:

Right now we have ressies at Le Cellier for dinner that night, as we will be in Epcot that evening. Planning to hang around the pool that morning.

Is that a good bday place? Is there somewhere we should go instead? Should I add on a breakfast somewhere? Who has the best bday cakes?

Open to any suggestions...TIA!

(see my sig for travel party info...)

We were at WDW last year for my bday. I was asked when making our resort ressies if we were celebrating anything and I told them it was my bday. We were there for 10 days and almost every restaurant we went to did something special for my bday. The best were: 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickeys, Ohana's, and Liberty Tree Tavern. We have never eaten at LeCellier so I can't comment on them, but I was treated special everywhere else for the entire trip....I told DH that I'm used to that now...so just one day of celebrating won't be enough anymore!:cool1:

I guess it depends on what kind of atmosphere you are looking for your bday. Personally, I would go to somewhere with more of a party atmosphere like Biergarten or even Teppan Edo. Le Cellier isn't all that exciting to me and the atmosphere doesn't scream celebration to me. IMHO.

I booked Le Cellier for my birthday in September 2007. My mom who was with me on the trip told them when she made the reservation it was my birthday and boy did I get a surprise. She arranged to have a special dessert and not a cake. But I didn't know that. When we got seated I mentioned to our server that I was so looking forward to the creme brulee as that is my favorite. Well not only did I get the surprise dessert but I also go the creme brule.

I would make sure that every reservation you have is noted that it is your birthday and don't forget to get the birthday button the first day. Wearing that button was so much fun.

thanks for the ideas!

i might try and change our o'hana breakfast to my bday morning...or maybe leave it and just wear the button all week!:thumbsup2
