Are they worth the money? Do they work as well as they are advertised to? And are the vacumm ones better than the bags you just roll? Just don't want to spend money for no reason!

Thanks for any tips! :dog2: :paw: :goodvibes

I bought my Space Bags at Bed Bath and Beyond for $19.99. I knew I could find it somewhere cheaper like Walmart or Target but was too lazy at the time. But it was actually good because in the box I got an extra carry-on size bag!! (It was a mistake, only supposed to get 8 but I got 9.

They really are worth the money, I was able to pack 8+ outfits and fit them in half of a standard carry-on. HTH!

If you get on the mailing list for Bed Bath & Beyond, they usually send you coupons for either $5 off or 20% off 1 item. This is what I used to buy my Space Bags. I love them! (PS...BB&B will usually accept Linen N Things coupons and vice versa)

I bought mine so long ago I can't remember from where. I have one you roll and they work great since it doesn't require a vacuum. I've seen them at WalMart and my local drug store, also on one of the shopping channels.

I doubt you'd waste any money on these since you can use them at home as well to store seasonal clothing, linens, etc.

Ok, a question. It came into my mind that. It would be great to buy some spacebags. But, then I thought. Ok, I use the vacuum at home to pack to save space. But, what do I use to pack coming home, since there will be no vacuum, any suggestions. From those who have experience. Thanks :flower:

there are space bags with a duo Cap on them for two uses. you can use a vacccum or push(sit-on) to get air out. I believe they are call Travel SpaceBags. I got 4 bags with my set from Costco.

Also, I think I remember reading on here a while ago, that Disney mousekeepers will lend you a vacumm if requested.

I bought the travel one's at Target for $9.99 for 3 bags last week. It had 2 carry-on suitcase sized one's and the other was for a larger suitcase. These are the one's that you just roll the air out, so no need for vacuum. Plenty of room for those souvies. I actually found these over in the storage area of the store. They did have a cheaper version in the luggage area, but I did not care for these as much. Also, these only came in medium & large sizes and not one's that will fit in a rolling carry-on bag.

I swear by space bags, but only if I am going on a trip with limited luggage. Space bags allowed me to travel 16 days in Europe with only a backpack. I did stop do to one load of laundry once. We never needed to check our luggage, as it fit in the carry on. :cool1:

I bought the Pack Mate travel bags from QVC. I forget teh price - $20 something for a dozen bags in 4 sizes. I liked them so much I bought another set. I store my off season clothes in old suitcases, and they work great. I highly recommend these. No vaccume required.

I got some on the mark down aisle in Wal-Mart this summer haven't had a chance to use them yet. :cool1:

4 large bags for 8.99
with all the college/dorm stuff

I did a feather comforter in the largest bag, compressed nicely.
decompressed all on its own the next day.

so much for storage.

Word of warning!!
be careful when packing with them and flying. Last trip we bought some and packed everything real nice. Then we got to the airport and our suitcase was overweight. :earseek: Lucky we always pack an extra duffel to bring things home, so we just moved somethings over into that and just checked another bag instead of pay the $50 fee for over weight luggage.
