Best place to book 1 or 2 nights on Disney

Hi

Never stayed on site but thought we might try for a night or two midway through our holiday (probably the night we go to Wishes) but as I will be paying and surprising the other half I don't want to break the bank (...or I may get into trouble.....lol).....any tips on the best sites to use for the booking (looked at Disney direct but the prices are quite high)

Also if you were only going to spend one or two nights which hotel would you suggest????

Check out the DVC-Rent/Trade forums at http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29, you may be lucky and rent a studio at one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts from a member for a lot less than the Disney nightly rack rate.

For a 1-2 night stay it would be between the Beach Club or Old Key West.

Looking at your ticker I think you may find it hard to accommondation through renting points but if you give me your dates I can call and find out which resorts are available.

U could try hotelopia, alpharooms or expedia and if booked through topcasback/quidco u will get 10% back but they dont always hv the disney hotels on but worth a look. As for which one its a personal choice and depends on ur budget. I wld def try to rent points to get a lot cheaper price. If they are week days they will be half the price of fri and sat. Okw is lovely but my fav is akl. For a mod resort for 2 of you i wld say POFQ. Let us know how u get on.

My choice for a reasonable price onsite would be Port Orleans Riverside. The whole resort is very well themed, it has a way of making you feel like you are somewhere very different but with all the disney touches.

for a few days (next month for example) it willl set you back just over 400gbp for 3 nights. Or for 150GBP less you could stay in the VERY DISNEY Pop or Movies?

Personally it depends if you want Mickey Mouse Giant Icons kinda theming or Subtle area theming. I love both.
