Best Place/Time to get ButterBeer!

I am looking for suggestions on the best time and place to get Butter Beer. We intend on getting to the park first thing in the morning on a Sunday. Also, frozen or regular?

Get it in the Hogs Head. I like the cold but more people seem to like the frozen.

Definitely the hogs head, or if you want food as well, the three broomsticks

And definitely frozen IMO

I tried both, and even had the regular again at the Harry potter studio tour in London, and I find the regular butter beer a bit too sickly

When I pushed the straw through the creamy topping some sort of weird reaction occurred and the drink basically exploded and half of it landed in the queue outside Olivanders. Talk about a mess. That really rather soured me to the non-frozen one. I also find it sweeter, so I prefer frozen.

Oh, forgot to say, as to when, in the queue for Olivanders, or just before leaving to sip on the walk back to the resort. uldn't want all that sweet stuff shaking around inside during FJ, dragons, hulk etc.

I am one of those that prefers frozen. Regular seems to me like having a cream soda...

Check on the backside of the outdoor butterbeer barrel too. People are supposed to line up on both sides but we've caught the thing with everyone lined up on one side and virtually no one in the other line.

Also, another vote for frozen.

Last year I went in August and the queues were huge was literally a mile long so me and my friend went into the three broomsticks it was packed however we sat outside was lovely and a waitress came over and we bought two butter beers in the souvenir cups, turns out I didn't really like butter beer and the waitress could tell when I tasted it and she took it away and gave me a brand new cup and another pint of Harry potter lemonade for me instead for free she was a lovely woman and everyone was friendly in the three broomsticks and we got served right away so win win. Hope this helped

We like frozen too. Regular was just ok to us. But one shared is enough......... especially before Duelling Dragons

I like both...I tried both once (NO, I didn't finish both!) and liked regular VERY VERY slightly...it was also February....I'm sure in August I'd prefer Frozen!!

Anyway, I do recommend having it AFTER riding Dragon Challenge AND Fobridden Journey as both of them can get your stomach churning by themselves.

Frozen Butterbeer from Hogs Head. It was busy and hot one day when we were there... tucked into the pub, and no waits. It was also cool. As a bonus, I witnessed the bartender offering to take a photo of a few older ladies who were obviously big Potter fans.

This. I made the mistake of having a butterbeer before riding FJ once. UGH.

Now, I only have it AFTER FJ/DC. And I always go to the Hog's Head.

I agree with the Hogshead being the best place. Both the frozen and the cold are really super-sweet, but I found that the frozen cut down on the sweetness a bit. I couldn't ever drink more than 1/3rd of the cup because I found it to be way too sweet.
