Best place for "wishes" ???

We are planning to stay at MK on the friday to see wishes (feb 11) - anyone have a suggestion for the best place to see the fireworks. My daughter read in her book that near the Flying Dumbos might be a good spot?

Also wonder about transportation back to PopCentury. I have read it can be very busy. Strategies?

Personally I just love Main Street. It is more crowded. However, seeing the fireworks over the castle is magical in itself.

The Hub area is the best place. I would say for the best view, do not venture from Main St. area. REmember that Main . St. does not turn off the lights during the show, which you may not like, but the hub area does, but both are prime spots.

I have seen Wishes from so many places, but my favourite is sitting in the middle of the walkway between Cosmic Ray's and Autopia race track. it is never crowded and everything seems to explode directly above your head.

The best place I've seen it is the walkway between Main Street and the Crystal Palace, near Caseys. There is a railing with a downhill on the other side, so no one can stand in front of you and block your view.

Last trip I stood on the walkway from Main Street into Tomorrowland (where you enter by the new Stitch attraction) and had a great view.

Hub in front of the castle is great - but be careful not to get too close to the front of the castle. It would seem to be a terrific place to stand, but perspective is surprising. If you're too close, the castle will block your view of some of the lower fireworks. I know this first-hand...after choosing my spot early, staking my claim, waiting patiently for the show to start - and then &%^&* can't see much of anything!

We've watched from Fantasyland - Dumbo area... it was ok, but not as good as from the front of the castle, Main street area. You miss the things going off around the castle, plus you get some debris falling on you

We saw Wishes from the Dumbo area and my DS thought it was the best! The fireworks were going off over our heads in every direction. You do miss the view of the castle but to see the excitement on my DS face as he watched was priceless.

The Hub, Main Street, or below the train station on Main Street--- that is also a good place if you want to beat the crowds out.
