Hi All,

What is your suggestion for finding the best price on a Disney Cruise. I have checked out cruising.com and they seem to be lower than rack. We are thinking September 2006 and possibly getting married on it...but that is not for certain.

Thanks!

CJM

Are you a Florida Resident? If so, when Disney offers the resident discounts that is the best price.

We used cruise.com for our last DCL cruise and are using Costco Travel for our next. Cruise.com was super and, IMHO, Costco does everything well.

I would recommend you try both and go with the best price.

Thanks everyone!

EricAmanda, do you know which ones. The one I am looking at is the 7 night Eastern's

Tomorrow will be 70 days out until my upcoming 3-day with DS.....I have a feeling DCL will not announce FL Res for this cruise (9/1).....

Will any of these sites accept discount vouchers from DCL? The vouchers don't say that you have to use DCL directly.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, but www.cheaptickets.com has some significant savings for booking online. I don't know about customer service but I just booked a seven night in March this morning and it was $350 less than the Disney site. HTHs!

Great thread! I am in the process of getting quotes for our next family cruise in 2006. I will have to check these out. I am a memeber of AAA, Costoc and Sam's. I never think to get quotes form them.

I got my best deal at Sam's Club. It was $100.00 cheaper that anyone else.

Good luck!

Frank

I just checked out cruisevacationcenter.com as was recommended by GhostlyHitchhiker and found the savings to be about $750 for a 7-night eastern for DH,myself,DD & DS for a cat 4. I would really like to book it, but am a little nervous about booking through someone other than Disney or a regular TA. I'm thinking that $$ would sure buy a lot of those yummy poolside drinks and Konch Koolers on CC!! Does anyone have any experiences good or bad with these type of discount sites?

I just got a quote from Magical Journeys for cat 4 November 5, 4 day Wonder, of $3350 Cat 6 $2850.00. Does this sound good?

I've found all of my best deals from Sam's as well!

I know for all of you who are reading my replies are thinking I am nuts. I have the same question on about three different threads. Everyone just seems to be helping me so much I wanted to let you know what I have found. Sam's right now has the best price for a Cat 6 on the November 2006 Wonder sailing. It was $2553 and some change. I have to wait to contact AAA and Costoc tomorrow. I am just so excited I can hardly stand it.

Make sure and ask AAA if they have any group rates that they can get you. Also ask about onboard credit. I got $100. They quoted me a price higher than what I ended up with. When I told them to hold a stateroom for me they called me back and gave me a price $200 less than first quoted.
