I am looking for a good place for breakfast it will be me, DH, DS's 8 and 13. I am keeping my fingers crossed the Toy Story character meal happens, but I will not hold my breath. We are using the dining plan and were planing on trying Fresh until I realized it was not on the list of resturants. So far we are considering 'Ohana, Boma, and 1900 PF. We are still looking and want to know what is your favorite, can't miss breakfast. Thanks, Melissa

Loved! Loved! Loved! 1900 Park Faire. Great Food! Great Service! Great characters!

Our two can't miss breakfast places are Whispering Canyon Cafe and Boma.

We loved Fresh when we tried it last May, but I have heard it's gone down hill in both quality and the amount of choice there used to be.

We loved 1900 Park Fayre. The setting is great (can't beat the GF), the characters were fantastic (Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet) and the food was lovely. Worth every dime :)

Well that sure makes me feel better about not going to Fresh.
Regarding Boma is the food exotic? Is it similar to typical breakfast fare?
My only other concern is getting to Animal Kingdom for an early breakfast, we will be staying at the POP. Thanks, Melissa

Wow I really was not expecting so many 1900 PF! That would be wonderful, any excuse to go the the Grand Floridian (especially for us little POP peasants) ans it is so easy to get to and from. Thanks, melissa

Just love the incredible breakfast buffet at Boma. Can't go without some of their french toast, homemade made to order omelets, fresh yogurt & granola, scones, and the special frunch drink at least once on a trip.

Our favorite character breakfast is Crystal Palace, reserved for 8 am so you get into the park early and have the castle all to yourselves for photos, plus the food is fab and characters delightful). First runner up is Chef Mickeys.

Our favorite non-character breakfast is Kona Cafe. First runner up is Whispering Canyon Cafe.

We totally did NOT enjoy Ohana (I appreciate that everyone's experiences are different; just saying that ours wasn't good -- cold food, attitude, little character interaction, here's your check so go already).

While there are a few exotic type things you will only find here, there is also all of the normal things you can expect to find at a breakfast buffet. I think it has more choice than any other buffet. Both picky eaters and people looking for something different will be satisfied.

My suggestion for transportation would be to take a taxi there, and then use the AKL transportation to get to the parks after breakfast. Make sure to check out the animal viewing areas while you are there.

Though Cape May Cafe was good. :Pinkbounc

personally, as the mom of an 8yo boy, i'd choose 'ohana... breakfast with stitch... whath can beat that? (certainly not MARY POPPINS! LOL!)

1900 Park Fare...although we have had breakfast at Cinderellas castle and Crystal Palace I would have to say 1900 Park Fare was the best experience. I think that the food there was terrific and we found that of all three places the characters spent the most time interacting with our daughters there. They were very kind and willing to spend time both chatting with them and getting photos taken. Everything about the morning there was wonderful
