Hi Guys

Anybody have any ideas on the best place to get Attraction Tickets for next August.

As we were going on the Disney cruise as well I was just going to get a hopper, but we have changed our plans and moved the cruise to the following year 2006 so that we can take the 7 day special Magic cruise which includes 2 days at Castaway Cay.

That means we will now be spending the whole 14 days at the Pop Century Resort next August and I am looking for maybe the Ultimate Ticket or the 10 day world ticket.

Any info would be appricated as I have normally got them through the Tour Operator, but thinking there maybe good deals to have elsewhere.

Cheers

Sue

Hi Sue

Have a look at the Unofficial Guide's "Best Tickets for you" page

Alternatively, have you thought about a Fun In The Sun Ticket?? if you need any info I will dig it out for you :)

Also - if one of you had an Annual Pass you might save money on your room at Pop which would make this even better value for money.

HTH!

Karen :) :) :)

Thanks Karen

If you could give me some info on fun in the sun ticket that would be great. I have now booked the pop as part of a package holiday,so I dont suppose an annual pass could help me with that could it? Would be worth thinking about if it did.

Hi Sue

Check out this thread (go to the bottom) but I can give you more info than is on there if you need it, but I think it covers most of what you require.

We bought FITS tickets for MIL & FIL for December and they are excellent value - better than the 10 day pass plus you get more days than the 10 day pass.

The only thing is that they may not have released the tickets yet for August but they are really helpful if you email them (details on the thread I've posted above)

:)

Whichever pass you decide to buy, you might want to check out www.mapleleaftickets.com
I have heard from many people that their prices are great and they send them directly to you. Many have said they are very reliable. Good luck!

With regard to Fun in the sun's there is rumour that Disney are going to discontinue them after the latest batch expire at the end of April 05, lets hope it's only a rumour or they can come up with an equally good value pass for the UK market.

Sean:crazy:

Sorry also forgot to mention that Paramount are no longer selling them either.

Thanks Everybody for all your replies, I will check all of them out and see what good deals I can come up with.

Cheers

Sue

Re: the FITS passes. A couple of months ago I e-mailed Rosa at Paramount about FITS passes for May 2005 onwards. She said that they wouldn't know anything until April of next year I'm going to wait until then before I decided what to do about our tickets. We've used the FITS passes before and they are excellent value for money! :hyper:

And from the end of September Paramount are out of the holiday business. Got a letter from them yesterday saying that my hotel reservation was confirmed and paid for but future contact needed to be direct to the hotel. Was a little worried until I read on another thread that the owner is closing the travel side of the business to concentrate on his insurance business.

Might be worth checking mercurytravel.net. They gave me the best prices and delivered the tickets already (not going till January). I know they do FITS as well.
