Hi,
We will be staying at the CR. We probably wont be doing a full service restaraunt for bfast every morning. Where can we get a good counter service hot breakfast such as scrambled eggs, bacon etc that will fill us up? :earsboy:

For Counter Service the fun room downstairs will serve brkst. Pretty much every resort has a counter service location where you can pick up a few things.

For full service. Think about the Concourse St. The stickey mickeys are to die for and I think they will put them in a to go box for you at the podium if you ask. A short boat ride to FW where you will find the Trails Ended voted the best deal at WDW. Another wonderful breakfast. We never miss it.
WC isnt a bad one either and we love Roaring Forks for a quick meal.

We stayed at CR a few weeks ago, and we had breakfast most days at the Food 'n Fun Center in the hotel. They have the standard stuff - eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, cereal, muffins, danish, etc. They had breakfast specials each day, which usually were hot oatmeal and french toast sticks (these were good).

Sometimes we ate there, other times I went down and got breakfast for everyone and brought it up to the room on a tray (I'm an early riser and no one else is...)

We had the dining plan and we used our counter service credits for breakfast each day and skipped lunch. When you use the counter service credits for breakfast, you get a breakfast entry plus a muffin or danish. We were too stuffed from breakfast to eat the muffin/danish, so we saved them for snacks at lunch or at night which worked out well.

One day we had breakfast at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, and that was good also, but basically the same as CR (both counter service).

Can someone tell me why it's called the Food and Fun Center? Does it have arcade games or something in a food court? :confused3

Yes, there is an arcade next to it.

It's a pretty good one. On some of the games, you can win tickets and redeem them for prizes - games like skeeball.
