HI..going in AUgust, third time......

Went to Cinderella's castle first time. NEver found a place again.

Just looking for a really good breakfast (buffet is fine)......

SHould we just go to Crystal Palace?????WE loved lunch there, just don't know where to go.

We are staying at CBR this time and I am nervous. Stayed at AKL and WL before. ANy input would help.

Daughters are 13 and 10 and are adults on the meal plan.

Could I book something early one morning before a park opens and reserve?
THANKS SO MUCH.

Hi Janet - Chef Mickey's, in the Contemporary resort is our favourite because it's fun & it's the only place my kids ask to go each trip, even though they're teens now. If we're going at regular park opening time, we get the first breakfast seating. If we're doing early opening morning, we do the last seating. It's also open for dinner.

I really like Kona and the Grand Floridian Cafe. Since you have girls, I think it would be fun to have a "fancy" breakfast at the GFC.

Our favorite breakfast is Crystal Palace - they have a very nice breakfast buffet with some unique items such as puffed french toast - which is awesome. You could try to get an 8:05 am adr on a non-emh day which should get you done before MK rope drop @ 9. We also really enjoy Chef Mickey's and Ohana for breakfast - we usually do all three of these on our trip.

Kona is my favorite spot for breakfast in WDW. Spoodles is very good as well.

We went to Donald's Breakfast Safari at AK before the park opened for breakfast and it was fantastic! They have everything from cereals to waffles to fruits to sandwiches and soup. We had a great time there. The characters did a dance/walk around the restaurant and invited the kids to come join them. It was the best breakfast we had all week!

we did the donald safari breakfast at AK and LOVED it. The character interaction was great, the food was great. That is the only meal the whole week my DD ate. and I mean ATE, you would have thought we were starving her. she didn't even eat her meal in the castle. We are doing it again this trip.

Another vote for Kona. Can't beat the Tonga Toast!!!!

If you want a relaxed breakfast, we like the Grand Floridian. It's not as fancy as some people think, it just relaxed, and you don't have to be in the part that has the characters (unless it's your thing or you have little ones) I personally love Kona for the pressed coffee, the Tonga Toast is not my thing, though many rave about it. For a Character breakfast and a good breakfast buffet, Tusker House in AK can't be beat!

We Love crystal palace for breakfast ... I love to get an early reservation so I can get pictures in front of the castle with no one else in them ;)

I also love Kona but the girls (7and 5) dont like it much.

While we do like Crystal Palace for breakfast, especially an early ADR, I would recommend Fresh at the Dolphin as the best breakfast we have found. Garden Grove at the Swan is a close second. And though I haven't tried it, I have heard good things about Kona for breakfast as well. Only Crystal Palace and Kona would be on DDP, if that matters.
