Best place (and time) to rent surrey bike

Any tips on the best place and time of day to rent a surrey bike? We'll have a rental car so we can go anywhere on property. It will be next month so during the day will be hot, hot, hot, but that wouldn't stop us from renting bikes during the hottest part of the day since we're crazy like that. Any suggestions? We've never rented them before.

There are several resorts that have them. I stay at POR and you can go over to their sister resort, POFQ on your journey.

We rented them at WL in late November and LOVED it. The trail takes you on a loop from WL to Ft. Wilderness and back. It's very quiet and peaceful and wooded, and along the way we saw a TON of deer. They were just casually eating along the trail and let us get so close. It was very cool, and we'll most likely do it again when we return to WL this fall.

Got to say, we were impressed with renting them from WL...long bike trail over to FW and the campground... Have a beer at Crocketts Tavern..

Just want to say, they may look easy and a lot of fun, but they are very heavy and take considerable leg lower to get moving ... We were 4 adults, and it was a chore... You will work up a sweat !

Not too worried about working up a sweat... summer in Florida I sweat even when I'm in the pool

Thanks for all the tips! I'll definitely check-out WL! Do you think we'll be able to park there without a problem even though we aren't eating or staying there?

Even more work when two of the riders are kids who can not reach the pedals to help. We've rented at POR & BW. BW is more fun in the evening.

Even worse with four women..... my BFF and I sat up front and our friends sat in back.

It seemed to just get harder and harder every round of the pedal, until we realized they picked up their feet........OMG, we laughed so hard! Everyone looked at us, but we were in hysterics.
