We (dh,me,ds8,dd5,ds2) are going to WDW for 7 nights at the end of Feb/early March. This is the first time we've been able to stay a full week.:Pinkbounc We have adjoining rooms at the Pop Century and will be renting a car. I was wondering if it is allowable for a non-resort guest to park at one of the Epcot resort parking lots and use the World Showcase entrance to the park. This would be great since we'd like to explore the boardwalk after park closing and since we plan to spend most evenings enjoying the World Showcase and would hate to have to trudge back to the main lot at closing. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks,
Patty

Just follow the signs for the Boardwalk Inn. At the security gate, tell them you're just there to enjoy the Boardwalk. There shouldn't be a problem with it, as far as I know.

For the consideration of the guests staying at the resort, you should either use valet parking or overflow parking if you are planning on being there for a long time. I believe for the Boardwalk, their overflow is across the street from the main entrance. I would recommend that you pay the $6 for the valet. After a day in Epcot and walking around the boardwalk, those extra steps to get your car are going to feel like a mile.

Thank you both for your replies. It sounds like the valet is the way to go. Do you think they mind if the car is there all day? Also, any breakfast recommendations in this general vicinity? (Either in the nearby resorts or in the World Showcase?):earsgirl:

Provided that you are not there on a busy day, the valet parking shouldn't be a problem.

As for breakfast spots in that area, there is:

Spoodles - Boardwalk full breakfast service
Bakery - Boardwalk counter service, donuts, cereal, muffins
Epcot - Princess Breakfast in Norway (requires ps)
Epcot - Fountainview Cafe, Electric Umbrella
Beach Club - Character Buffet in the Cape May Cafe
Yacht Club - Yacht Club Galley, full service breakfast

We're not big breakfast eaters, so we normally hit either the Bakery at the Boardwalk or grab something quick in Epcot. With younger kids, it may be easier to get them to sit down and eat a bowl of cereal outside of the park. Mine tend to forget all about food the minute they start seeing the rides.

I just wanted to mention that adjoining rooms are very likely not what you think they are. Many people think adjoining means that the rooms can be "joined" together, but in "hotel language" that's not what adjoining means. It just means the rooms are next to each other - they could even be across the hall from each other.
What you want are connecting rooms. Those have a door inside the room that you can open to connect the room together so that you can go from room to room without going out into the hallway.
