Best park on a Sunday?

Our first day in the parks will be Sunday, October 22 (we will arrive the day prior). I will be traveling with DH and our three daughters ages 8, 6, and 2. I am trying to figure out at which park to begin our trip. We are not visiting Hollywood Studios this trip and I don't think we will start at Epcot since I hear it gets very crowded on the weekends during Food and Wine, so that leaves MK and AK. Out of those two, is one better than the other to visit on a Sunday? Thanks!

Whichever one your family wants to go to. I think MK is always more crowded than AK, but it would never stop me from going there.

It's likely MK will have a party that night so there might be fewer people there from rope drop until 4. People who don't have hoppers will want to use their ticket somewhere else to get the whole day. People who are going to the party might want a later start or to break up their day, so maybe Epcot in early afternoon then over to MK. If you don't mind leaving by 7, it would be just fine to go on that Sunday. Just realize crowds will pick up between 4 and 7 and fastpasses will be harder to come by for the good attractions.

Thank you! I think this is exactly what we are going to do. Hit rope drop and get as much done as we can before crowds get too bad around 4. Then we will head back to the Poly, enjoy dinner and a swim, and then watch the fireworks from the beach. Can't wait!

That sounds like a wonderful first day. Enjoy!

If I'm at WDW and its a day ending in "y" I'm going to spend at least a few hours at Epcot! Its always the right answer!

how bad is Epcot on a Sunday in October...I was thinking Friday and Saturday would be worse for Food and Wine, but is Sunday still super crazy?
