Hi everyone. We are leaving on Sat. and I see there are a couple of days next week with a chance of rain. Which park do you all think is the best to do in the rain? Thanks

We did AK in the rain and we didn't mind getting soaked on KRR! :thumbsup2

We usually do Epcot when it rains. You can spend quite a bit of time in each pavilion in future world. We have gone in when it's raining and come out 90 minutes later and the sun was shining or at least stopped raining.

Unless it is a cold rain, I like AK in the rain. The animals all come out and get cooled off and enjoy the rain, while the humans usually run for the park exit!

You have to remember though that rain in florida means it will rain in one section of central florida so disney may not get rain. And if you do get rain it usually only lasts about 15 - 30minutes.

Epcot. I think the Universe of Energy will last you about 45 minutes indoors (including preshow) and that's a good place to wait out the rain.

Well, usually. Last month it rained all day long on our first day there (and it was pouring in buckets the whole time). A few days we were there last December it rained all day, too. And it was COLD out.

Anyway, if you're in MK when it's raining, a good place to go is Tom Sawyer Island. We had the place to ourselves, and the trails aren't muddy.

Have fun. :)

Thanks for all the great advice :goodvibes I was actually thinking Epcot . I don't think we should have any total wash out days :umbrella: Right now there is only a 30% chance on a couple days thats not too bad :thumbsup2

We spent one very rainy ( and actually our ONLY all day rainy day in 14 trips) in MGM. Most of it is indoors.. and the shows last long and you are sitting down.
Indiana Jones is 30 minutes
Beauty & the Beast is 20 minutes
Little Mermaid 15 minutes
Playhouse Disney has to be about 15-20 minutes
Backlot tour says it's 35 minutes
Great Movie Ride is 22 minutes
Muppets 3-d is 25 minutes including preshow

then, if its still raining, you can take the boat to Epcot, and land by France and stay in the countries!

I agree! Just about everything at MGM is indoors or covered, so it doesn't matter if it rains there.
