Planning a trip for September. I know Star Wars will make every day feel crowded for quite a while, but if you could choose, would you do Thurs,Fri,Sat in the parks or Sun,Mon,tues?

based on the the logistics of how fellow employees plan for a weekend , and that Wednesday is the best day of the seven to support my observations how on folks fly, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday would be the best choice as folks would be flying out Sunday or early tuesday, Monday is the worst flying day and is also the worst day to visit Disneyland, so few folks on A Disneyland budget would choose Monday to fly out rather choosing Tuesday or Sunday to fly.

of you six days, Thursday will be your best evening in Disneyland if you do not have MM as folks are flying in for Friday, saturday and sunday. Your Saturday morning will not be a good choice for Disneyland if you do not have MM or used it on Thursday, Thursday being the best choice to use MM>

It depends when in September and what the entertainment calendar is like. And whether there were any Halloween parties scheduled on those nights...

Soooo... Sun,Mon,Tues is the best but Monday is the worst day of the week? Seems a bit contradictory. Unfortunately I have to start making arrangements now and won't be able to wait until Halloween party dates are announced. I guess I was hoping there was some historical data or even anecdotal evidence that one set of days was better or worse than the others. If they are all more or less the same then that's fine too.

Depends on what your biggest priority is - lowest crowd or most entertainment running. Thurs/Fri/Sat is the best bet for full entertainment, as even if Fri they are doing the halloween party, sat they will also have evening shows. Sun/Mon/Tues may be slightly lower crowds, but park hours can be shorter and bigger chance of fewer evening shows available.

If you need to minimize airfare though, flying on sat/wed is probably your best bet.

We did Disney in September 2016, and did a Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat. It was great, but crowds were significantly bigger Friday and Saturday, especially Friday afternoon and evening (halloween party was going, but we did not attend and went to DCA which was SUPER crowded as everyone else like us went over there too!).

Hope that info helps! It is likely that crowds will be high, but also that they will keep hours more extended than in previous years and have a full slate of entertainment available all week to help offset the number of people.

Thanks so much! Very helpful. Just what I was looking for. I think I will look at the Sat - Wed to take advantage of airfare and possibly slightly lower crowds. Fingers crossed!
