Best Overall Dining Experience at Epcot World Showcase?

The only TS restaurants I've eaten in at Epcot are Chefs De France and Le Cellier. Both were very good, but I think Chefs had a little bit of an edge over Le Cellier. The reviews for it are really inconsistent, though, so I'm thinking that your experience may depend a bit on either what you order or what mood the kitchen is in.

Do you know if the little guys from Ratatouille are still making apprearances at Chefs De France? If so, lunch, dinner or both?

We did Biergarten for dinner - never requested a table but always seemed to be close to the stairs so DD could go dance near the band. They played for most of the time we were there eating.

Also recommend the princess breakfast in Norway. You got the hot foods brought to your table and the cold foods up on the buffet bar.

Neither place seemed to rush us out of our seats. And that was before & after the tipping was taken off the DDP.

My DH also loves to eat at the American pavilion - he likes to have at least one meal that is familiar to him during our trips. During our last trip, we timed it right and got to see the honor guard perform while we ate. We have never seen it before and it was very touching to see how they honor our country.

We love the Norway Princess breakfast as well. Sadly, though, I think my girls may be out of their princess phase!

We have 3 favorites: Teppan Edo in Japan, Tutto Italia in Italy, and Biergarden in Germany. Just depends on the mood. I try to make a ressie at 1 of these every trip.

Restaurant Marrakesh - this was fun for lunch. Not crowded, nice decor, wonderful Moroccan music and belly dancer inside. Children were invited on the floor to belly dance too. I've heard of adults being invited too. While the food was not absolutely authentic, most was unique and very delicious.

Teppan Edo - this good be fun, food was good. But, I'm not sure if you get the full experience unless you have a larger group and get a room with the open cooking surface - to get the cooking tricks. Not unique for us, Japanese steakhouses with the same tricks are all over the place where we live. The best part is the drumming on the giant drums outside the restaurant.

Biergarten -- this place looks like fun. I regret we canceled this ADR on our last trip because we changed our park plans while there.... but definitely going here again, seen lots of good reviews about the music and entertainment.

We can get great food at home. We like the restaurants with "entertainment" and characters when at Disney.

I am looking for the best overall dining experience at Epcot's World Showcase. I have heard everyone else rave about the filet at Le Cellier, but I am looking for uniqueness and even entertainment value. Food quality is important, but we are not 'food snobs' by any means!

We are interested in many places at WS, but need to narrow it down!

I would also recommend Biergarten for the food and entertainment.

Oktoberfest Musikanten

Our 3 faves are:

San Angel Inn - good food, great atmosphere. Feels like you are in another world!

Akershus - love the food. We are from MN so it was "comfort food" for us. Stuff our grandma's made. I still salivate thinking of the cold buffet

Biergarten - again - very comforting, grandma food for us. Love the place, the entertainment, everything.
