Actually, dinner is optional. Looking for recommendations for a show for adults to take in while in Orlando. I'm hearing good things about the Outta Control Magic Show and the Dixie Stampede. I'm a bit leary of Sleuth because the husband hates being picked out from the audience and I don't know how much audience interaction there is. He's never been the same since he was onstage at Hoop de Doo dressed as a ballerina.:rotfl2:

I've read some fairly negative reviews about the shows you mention.

My recommendation would be Cirque du Soleil, at DTD. It's not a dinner show, but the dinner part of the dinner shows is almost universally reviewed as "terrible" anyhow. You're better off going to a nice restaurant somewhere before or after the show (DTD has lots to choose from).

Great recommendation. I should have mentioned we've been to Cirque and, as previously mentioned, Hoop de Doo. I'm actually looking for shows outside of WDW for the "pre-Disney" portion of our vacation. Thanks though.:3dglasses

The Outta Control Magic show is in a small room and when we were there they did a LOT of audience participation. I also think it is best suited for kids rather than an adults night out.

What about checking out Universal Citywalk - some of the places in there have live music (I think the irish pub did - but I was not overly impressed with the menu)

I have heard Dixie Stampede is the better of the dinner shows, but have never seen it.

House of Blues for dinner and a show check HoB for who may be playing?

Luau at Seaworld

How about the theatre here are a couple of sites, but if you google Orlando Theatre you should get more chioces.

and they have a comedy improv too

We went to, and enjoyed, a restaurant at The Gaylord Palms (I think it was called Sam's Fish Camp) - they had a band playing and other things going on (I think it was balloon animals, stilt walking)

Depending on your dates - Blue Man Group are setting up stage at Univeral from June. I just LOVE their show!
