Planning 2020 early July visit - what are the best options for 3-4 adults for 5 nights? 4th Adult not confirmed so would you suggest booking for 3 then adding the 4th later ( for an admin fee presumably).

It is hard to say without a budget or your preferences known. I see no reason to add the forth person on at the time you book the room, but it really does not make a difference initially. I make changes all the time.

Can you let us know if you will be spoendingmost of your time in the parks, or if you want to use the resort amenities as part of the vacation? Also, do you have a preference in regards to location? Theme?

My family prefers the Deluxe resorts and will often book one of them for our trips, making the choice when we knwo what our trip will look like.
WE like the monorail and Epcot resorts the best, and bounce between them.

Hi Nancy,
We have stayed at OKW twice and love the proximity to Disney Springs however have been advised they not releasing those properties as early this year. We want to take advantage of DD so a Moderate or Deluxe would be our preference. Travelling with husband, 18 yo son and possibly his friend so we will not be much in MK but love AK, HS and the water parks.

For a moderate I would consider CSR. It is considered an DAK resort, I believe and is more adult centric than POR or CBR, IMO. POR has the water taxi to DS, so that is a plus for me.

If I was choosing a Deluxe resort I would consider Animal Kingdom Lodge or one of the EPcot resorts. No mattter where you stay you will be using bus transportation to DAK, so I would look at the amenities in the vicinity.

ALK is stunning. It is a bit remote, which adds to it, IMO. It is a vacation within a vacation.

ANy of the Epcot resorts are within walking distance to DHS and are on the Boardwalk. Plenty to keep young adults busy.

Go POP OR ALL STAR MUSIC...imho best options. If you want a Moderate......POFQ

No there will not be an Adm fee to add a person to a reservation :)

There will be an extra fee per night if a fourth adult is added to the reservation. It varies by the resort category.....$25/night for moderates and $35/night for deluxe. If you stay in a suite or villa, I don't believe there is a charge for extra adults.

CBR, possibly POR. Each has some rooms with a third (granted, smaller/good for kids, short adults, people who sleep curled up on their side) bed. By the time you go, the Skyliner will have been operating for several months, with CBR being the hub - to Epcot, or to DHS, or to Pop/AoA.

I would see if you could get a good deal at Swan/Dolphin (Dolphin has 2 doubles, Swan 2 queens). Super comfy beds and easy access to Epcot and HS. Your son and his friend will really enjoy the pool and the Boardwalk for evening entertainment and ice cream!
