Best option for Epcot in summer?

I've heard Epcot is kind of like a concrete heating cylinder in the summer :) Wondering what the best way get about 8 hours in there is:

1. Just do a full day and soldier through the heat, make use of an ARD lunch to break it up?
2. Do two mornings, 9-1, focusing on different parts of Future World from 9-11, then moving into World Showcase from 12-2
3. Do a morning in Future World and an evening at WS?

3.

World Showcase is an inferno on summer afternoons. Lots of walking without much shade. However you plan it, either do WS early in the day or when it's closer to dusk.

(Future World isn't really any worse than any other park in the heat.)

There is little to no shade in the the World Showcase, in between pavilions. We'll be there mostly in the late afternoon and evening. We won't see everything but we also won't burn.

#3 is probably the best option. However I must report that me and my family thought we would be hot weather wimps when we visited Epcot last July and August. The high temp on our Epcot day was 99! Yet somehow we managed to stay right through all day and not mind the heat too much. I just report this to say it can happen that way even for weather-averse folks.
