Best onsite accomodations for party of 7-8?

Anyone that has ever traveled with a group of 7 or 8 to Universal...can you please give me advice on what would be best onsite accomodations if you are working with a budget?

With more than 5 you will need 2 rooms at any of the three onsites. Royal Pacific Resort will be your least expensive option booking 2 standard rooms. Depending on the season you choose I have seen rates using AAA or promotions as low as $129.00 a night.

Next up in price range would be 2 rooms at Hard Rock Hotel in a garden view. Most expensive would be Portofino Bay Hotel 2 rooms in a garden view.

The largest standard rooms are at Portofino with Hard Rock next and Royal Pacific coming in at approx. 335 sq feet per room.
