best online site to buy passes

We had tickets from Undercovertourist shipped to us in Canada for free in November. I'm surpirsed that Ticketmania doesn't ship to Canada anymore. If you want both tickets try undercovertourist.com they sell both Disney and Universal tickets one stop shopping.

Yes they do:

http://www.ticketmania.com/shipping.shtml

"Currently we ship to USA, Canada or United Kingdom, all other Countries must use Hotel Delivery or Store Pickup."

They just don't ship free anymore. It is $10 shipping fee to Canada.

That's a rip off if they charge $10 because when I got my tickets from undercovertourist just 2 weeks ago (ordered Dec. 31st), they shipped free and the postage on the express envelope was under $5.

did you purchase recently because the person I spoke with said they used to ship to Canada but do not do this any longer. We are buying the 5 day, waterpark plus (4 plus days) passes that expire 14 days after first day of use. The disney stores in Toronto offer this exact pass for $285 CDN and The Official Ticket Centre offered them for $255 US and I also tried Dreams Unlimited and Ticket Momma.
I still have to find somewhere to get my Universal tickets. I wonder what would have happened if I just filled out everything online instead of phoning.

So $255us converted to ca$ at todays rate is $308....so $285ca from the disney store is still a good deal (even if you still need to add the florida tax - it adds up to $303ca)

I totally agree - the Disney Stpore price is a good deal - it must have been set back in November when the US rates were low?? CAA is offering the Universal Deal of $85 ($90.00 tax Incld) for the 7 day all park experience so I think this is a better route also.

The woman at the store told me that Disney sets the prices when new ticket prices are released and don't adjust them throughout the year according to the exchange rate. Last year at this time they were the most expensive! That 5 cent drop in our dollar really makes a difference!

I just phone a Disney store in Ontario.
5 day base ticket is $244.95 tax included.
5 day with Park Hopper is $298.20 tax included.
7 day with Park Hopper is $303.53 tax included.

Are these good prices?

Is that $90 CAD confirmed?? I paid $549 USD today for 6 of them = $660.00 CAD taxes included. $85 USD = $102 CAD Today.

Did I get ripped off?? LOL :confused3

Nevermind..

After researching the CAA website they are indeed charging $90 for 2 parks 7 days ....but it's USD!! I paid $85 USD for 2 park UNLIMITED use for 14 days via the Universal Web site. Their Disney tickets are quite a bit more expensive as well.

We've used undercover.tourist and ticketmania and have been happy with both sites. The cheapest thing to do is collect airmiles and redeem airmiles for your passes.

The cheapest way is to collect Air Miles, get a Bank of Montreal Gold Mosaik Mastercard and save those miles to fly WestJet to Orlando on 1400-1600 Air Miles (versus 4000-5000 Air Miles on other airlines), especially if you're in Western Canada where round trip airfare can cost $800 return.

The good and the bad really depends on what you want.

I've done a LOT of digging trying to find the best price. Ticketmania offers 5 days (208) or 7 days (207) for their base tickets after converting you would be charged $248.78 CAD each Adult. Obviously they offer a 7 day base ticket cheaper than 5.

Peronally for me it would have been nice having those extra 2 days cushion as we're staying for 2 weeks.

Is $3.83 CAD worth 2 extra Disney days?? And there's also the $10 USD shipping charge as well if you order through Ticketmania.

My personal situation..for 4 adult base tickets and 1 child ticket for 7 days it would cost me shipping included $27.64 more through Ticketmania.
We also dont want to do water parks but do want to do Disney Quest and the Disney Store doesn't sell those separately. We could just add it on when we get there but again, Ticketmania offers the best deal for DQ at $29.00 p/adult.

It's a tough call either way. There are pros and cons on both sides.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

The deal on Universal's site is for 7 consecutive days.

*Unlimited admission equals seven (7) consecutive days of admission, including first day of use, to Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk.

Still a great value though.

Thanks so much for pointing this out? I just read it on the site myself. Do you know if this has changed in the past few months? I could have sworn when we first looked into these it said 14 days. Perhaps I'm just losing it!
