OK, I'm an onion ring purist. The rings themselves don't need flavoring. If I'm in the mood for a different flavor, I prefer it in a side sauce. So where are the best O Rings at WDW?

I would say the best onion rings are definately at Beaches and cream... Thick and Oh so yummy!!!! Great now I'm hungry!!!!!!

Not Disneyworld exactly, but if you have a car and are in major need of a great onion ring fix -- go to Bahama Breeze off of 535. Huge plate of sweet onion rings with two really great dipping sauces -- too much for one person!!

another vote here for the SciFi onion rings! (we used to also like the onion rings at the 50s when they were those skinny, stringy, crispy kind, but they didn't have them the last time we were there)

I would have agreed with Beaches and Cream.

But our last 2 visits, our Onion Rings have been on the burnt side and greasy.

Still love their burgers :thumbsup2

We'll try SCI FI next trip!

We have a Bahama Breeze right across the street from us, and I've never been impressed with these - even just re-tried them the other night. I love everything else I've had there, the onion rings just don't do it. :/

While I adore onion rings, the only ones I've had have been at Flame Tree (ick) and Beaches+Cream. The ones at B+C were very good.

I've had onion rings at Sci Fi and Beaches and Cream, but I think the best are at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary. Their burger on an onion roll is fantastic, too! At lunchtime it's not too expensive and easy to pop over to from the MK.

I thought that the onion rings were like the chicken strips....the same all across the property. Does anyone know if they're really different--the onion rings that is??
Thanks,
John V

The ones at Concourse are definitely different -- huge and battered differently. The ones at Sci FI seem to have more of a corn meal type of breading while the ones at Concourse seem to have more of a light flour breading.

Oh great you HAD to talk onion rings!!!!! I LOVE ONION RINGS!!! Sadly they aren't exactly on my diet LOL I will be in WDW March 21-25th so I will have to try the places you suggested. My friend works in WDW so getting in free will allow me $$$$ for more onion rings!!!!!

I too thought that many foods are consistant throughout the property. Anyway, the best onion rings we had on property, in fact, they're as good as we've had ANYWHERE, were the rings at Shutters at the Caribbean Beach Resort!

We're going back in May and will be staying at CBR so a stop at Shutters will definitely be in order. :thumbsup2

Mmmmm....Sci Fi onion rings....

Not at WDW per se, but the Old Town Tavern in Celebration has perhaps the best onion rings I've ever had (the thin variety though).
