Best Off-site Hotel at Christmas?

While I'd looove to spend Christmas on-site, there's no way we could afford the prices and still be able to eat!

Does anyone have suggestions for a great hotel/resort that has an awesome pool, offers a lot of kids' activities, and gets decked out for Christmas?

have you made sure that you don't qualify for any of the discounts at the swan/dolphin? they may not be disney hotels, but they're onsite. we went there for xmas with a teacher's disc. for 99/nt

Another vote for Gaylord Palms - stayed there last December - it really was beautiful. They had a great rate of $119 if I am not mistaken, but this was the first weekend in December.
