Best Oct 2017 Week To Visit?

If you could visit Disney World during any week in October next year which would it be? Looking for lightest crowd and we'd be visiting Thursday leaving on Monday. Thanks for any advice!

Which October week is NJ off from schools?
The 3rd week of October may be after the threat of hurricanes and before Halloween week

We went the first week of October this year and the parks were not too busy. We did get caught in the hurricane and since our flight was cancelled we stayed over the weekend. We did not mind staying longer at all In 2015, Columbus day was a nightmare. I remember seeing the queue for Splash being over 200 minutes. Avoid the few days before and after the holiday.

Jersey week is in Nov. pooh2001. It falls during Veterans Day holiday.

My sister & I went a day in the first part of October, prior to the hurricane. It seemed crowded, but not so much where we couldn't navigate the crowds. Of course we visited on a Saturday & had gone to Disney Springs.

We stayed on property 10/22-10/26. The only place it seemed crowded was our resort. We were staying at Riverside, and the crowds for the buses were insane. The parks and Disney Springs did not seem crowded at all. Most rides were walk ons, but the major ones we had FP+ for & the wait it the return lines never exceeded 15 minutes.

Jersey week is in Nov. pooh2001. It falls during Veterans Day holiday.

Depends on how holiday's fall, there is most of a week on october jersey schools could be off. It happened this year where things just lined up to make a 5 day weekend.. that's not every year though so I wouldn't go by this.

We were there October 21-31 this year and other than weekends, it wasn't that bad. We'll be there October 8 - 17 next year.
