Best (non-signature) Table Service Steak?

While I'm sure everyone has their own favourites, I'll give you 2. On our last trip (Sept.11) I had one of the best steaks of my life at Mama Melrose. I know! Surprised the heck out of me too!!:rotfl2: The other one was at Kona. Done exactly as I requested and melt in your mouth tender.

Coral Reef in Epcot has a good one and also Tonys Town Square in MK has a good one and I had a good one at Boatwrights at Port Orleans Riverside

Le Cellier's Lunch menu either the mushroom filet or new york strip. Both melt in your mouth.

GF Cafe. We had steak there in April and in Nov. It was excellent both times.

The Teriyaki Strip steak at Kona Cafe rivals any steak on property....Signature or not...

Totally agree with the pp - Kona hands down.

Lecellier lunch filet, one of my favorites, Dh had a great filet @ Trex last visit and it is now on DDP.I also want to try Kona, have heard great things about their food.

The Turf Club at Saratoga Springs is wonderful!

Prime rib at the Turf Club fantastic.

GF Cafe. We had steak there in April and in Nov. It was excellent both times.

I would never have guessed that one. We go there for breakfast and lunch, but never dinner. I might have to add a third trip to the Cafe!

OP - I agree with Coral Reef. Kona is my daughter's choice for her birthday dinner in June.

The Le Cellier lunch filet is the best I've had (1TS *or* 2TS). The NY strip at Tony's is also surprisingly good.

My husband said the best one he had was the filet at the Brown Derby. He ate steak & filet at almost every meal and raved about the Derby's filet. I really liked Le Cellier's filet and mushroom risotto.

I wasnt impressed with the strip steak at Le Cellier. I was disappointed. The cut of meat wasnt tender at all, and it lacked flavour. I had a much better steak at Rose & Crown & Raglan Road to be honest! Heck, even at Teppan Edo!

I had a fantastic steak at GF Cafe just about 2 years ago.

DH had an incredible steak at Sanaa in October. He still drools over it.

And, he also loved the steak he had at Rose and Crown last January...

I vote for the serious sirloin at Raglan Road, but after seeing the responses, I have some more to try out this year!
