Hi everyone,

My husband loves seafood and I was wondering what would be a great seafood buffet or other restaurant. I was reading about Coral Reef and the reviews were mixed, so while this would be convenient I am not sure it would hit the spot! We would not want to go to a signature restaurant. TIA!

I would check out the menu for the Cape May Buffet (dinner time) and see if that is something you both would enjoy.

We really enjoyed it last year and have plans to go back this year.

For a non signature seafood, we love Cape May Cafe for dinner. Its a seafood buffet with crab legs, clams, shrimp and other items.

Also, don't forget that there is almost always a seafood dish at every restaurant. For example, you can always get the sustainable fish at the Wave.

100% Agree

and...

I would check out Coral Reef, my dad loves the mahi mahi there :)

We also love the Cape May Buffet. The mussels are great, salads, seafood pasta dish, and the desserts. Also, some of the best wait staff around!!

We loved Cape May and also really enjoyed Coral Reef. I'd look at the menus and see which appeals most to you.

I love Cape May! There for dinner and Crystal Palace breakfast were my only must dos this trip :)

We are still trying to plan which parks to visit on which day. If we do Cape May for dinner, is there a park that is closer to it than another?

Epcot is the closest by far, followed by Hollywood Studios.

I love the environment at Coral Reef, but our seafood meals there have been really hit or miss. Sometimes they are great. Other times I have gotten a over/under cooked mess.

What is surprising is that my hubby always gets the steak there and it always comes out great. It seems odd that a place specializing in seafood does a better job with steak, but it has happened every single meal for us.

If I were after good seafood, on the dining plan, and only spending one Credit, then I would echo everyone else here telling you to head to Cape May Buffet.

The Grand Floridian Cafe, also 1 Table Service Credit, has great Salmon, Tuna, or Lobster topped Burger on their Dinner Menu. They also have the Lobster topped Eggs Benedict for breakfast. We have always had a good meal there with excellent service.

The Salmon at the Wolfgang Puck Express was also fantastic, but it is a Counter Service meal.

Does Cape May's buffet have items other then seafood? My wife does not like seafood, but I would love to try their buffet. Do they offer any chicken or beef dishes?

I agree. Our seafood meals at Coral Reef haven't been that great, but we've always enjoyed their steak and also their pork loin. At the same time I prefer the steak at the Flying Fish and the lamb at Yachtsman Steakhouse.:rotfl: I think the char crusted steak at FF beats any steak I've ever gotten at Yachtsman and FF is supposed to specialize in seafood whereas Yachtsman specializes in steaks.:rotfl: If I was the OP and wanted a one credit seafood meal I'd go with Cape May.

Yes they have food for those who don't like seafood. Some type of chicken and ribs and other items too if I remember correctly.
