The day we leave I want a really great breakfast to send us on our way. :goodvibes We are staying at All Star Sports, so I really want more than a QS meal. So I am looking for your BEST idea for a non park sit down breakfast. Thx!:flower3:

Depending on far you're willing to travel, my family likes Kona Cafe at the Poly. The Pineapple Macadamia nut pancakes are really yummy.

Another vote for Kona. My dh loves the press pot coffee. The Big Kahuna is really good and I have had them make me blueberry pancakes.

We also got the fruit in the pineapple. A little pricey but a nice presentation. We didnt care for the banana bread that came with it though.

We really have not had a bad resort Breakfast. Our top 3 would be GF Cafe, Cape May & Kona. We also like Whispering Canyon & Boma.

Well I can't speak from experience(though as of this weekend I will be :cool1: ) but the Kona Cafe Tonga Toast looks amazing!! That's definitely on my "must do/eat" list come Thursday! :thumbsup2

I will keep Kona in mind. The Tonga Toast looks great. We are already doing O'Hana, so maybe not the POLY? We have a car so travel is not a problem. Can I hear more about GF? or maybe BOMA? But i may still get talked into KONA:rotfl:

Boma is another one of my favorite breakfast places, but it's a buffet. It has a really good variety of foods - some with an African twist. (I had thought in your original post when you said "sit down" you meant "non-buffet"! :))

We have started a tradition of eating our last breakfast at a deluxe resort.

We started at Boma, but this year we went to WCC (does two times make a tradition :confused3)

The reason for WCC is that my wife, youngest son and myself wanted a buffet but my oldest really doesn't get his money's worth. $25 for a couple of bagels and milk just isn't worth it. He just got the pancakes.

We will try the Poly or GF next time.

oh oops :goodvibes, I meant any TS, sorry. Boma sounds good, any favorites to try?

At Boma's I liked the sausage and biscuit skillet, the quinoa, and the bobotie. The frunch (lemonade, pineapple, guava, orange, and papaya juice mix) was really yummy. Here is a picture from the breakfast - Corned Beef, Sausage and Biscuit Skillet, Pap (white corn meal), Bobotie (corn beef, eggs, cream, potato and onion), and Muffin, quinoa is in the bowl).

Over at Kona, we had the pancakes (yum), the Big Kahuna (lots of food, but all pretty tasty), and the Tonga Toast. I'm not a big French Toast or banana fan, so I can't really say much about the Tonga Toast.
