Best non-Disney hotel with an ECV

Hi all! I am planning a Disneyland trip with my mom who has been having some mobility issues, so we are planning on renting her an ECV (from a third party, not planning on renting the ones at the park). This will be a first for all of us!

I am wondering about getting from the hotel to the park entrance - any recommendations for non-Disney hotels that would be best suited for this? If the hotel is within walking distance, could we just drive the ECV from the hotel to the security entrance? Alternatively, I see some hotels might have shuttles that we could load the ECV on. Any recommendations or experiences with specific hotels on this would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!

Not an ECV user but most of the hotels on Harbor Blvd between Katella and Ball are closer to the Esplanade (and DCA/DL gates) than PPH and DLH so I would think an ECV would be fine to get to the parks from any of the nearby hotels on Harbor.

I rented from Select Mobility Rentals and picked up the ECV at the lobby of The Best Western Plus Park Place Inn on S. Harbor - right outside Disneyland’s main gate.

My husband used D&R mobility and they dropped off the scooter at our hotel. It was waiting for us. It held a charge all day and we never had any issues with it.

We stayed at the hojo in building 1 and had a lot of extra space to fit the ECV in the room where we didn’t feel crowded with it in the room.

Whichever ECV rental you go with, make sure they will deliver to your hotel. I know D&R only deliver to certain places.

Have a fun trip!
