We are doing the Boma breakfast on our AK day. We are older, don't need to see characters. We are staying at CSR, doing Epcot the day in question. Where should we eat ? Thanks.

I am curious too about any good non-character breakfasts...we are going to many of them and we are about to add another day to our ressie and I was hoping to add a breakfst with no characters.

How about Spoodles on Boardwalk or Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club?

I think Spoodles is a good choice as well :goodvibes. We've never eaten at Captain's Grill so I can't comment on that, but we've eaten breakfast at Spoodles a few times and enjoyed it ::yes::.

We're doing a lot of character breakfasts too. We're doing Kona as a noncharacter one though :) I saw the kids menu and the Goofy egg breakfast is something my dd7 loves for me to make at home, so I know she'll really enjoy it there :)

you planning on visiting? If you are interested in only the World Showcase Sppodles and The Captains Grille make sense for a late breakfast. You have easy access to the international gate. If you want to start earlier in Future World Kona Cafe at the Poly or The Grand Floridian Cafe are also available. Either of these will connect to the front gate via monrail.

Both gates will be open when Future World opens but there is no easy connection between the International Gate and the front gate. You will ahve to walk around the lagoon.

We like Kona & the GF Cafe. And the Wave at CR looks like it could be good.

We are 55 and 50 and do the character breakfasts--but we love the food. I see you are staying at the CSR. Why not just eat at the Maya Grill at the resort? Or the Pepper Market? We've done both as we stay at the CSR every year.

It's been a hundred years, but I think DH and I ate breakfast at CSR, it was a buffet. Did it have characters? Either way, it was pretty good (from what I remember).

Also another vote for Kona at the Poly.....stuffed french toast and french press coffee. It's fun. It's a little crazy because O'Hana is right there too, but it would be convenient to get back to Epcot. Also, we had ADRs last time we ate there and totally didn't need them.

No characaters at the CSR, and yes it is a buffet.

You don't say how you will be getting around - will you have a car? Then Kona would be doable. If not, I don't think it is worth it to go that far out of your way just for breakfast. You can't take direct buses between resorts, so in order to eat breakfast at Kona, for example, you would need to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom from CSR and then take monorail or boat back to the Poly. Then hop back on the monorail all the way around after breakfast and switch monorails to epcot. Too much running around if you ask me. I would just eat at CSR in that case.

Maya Grill at Coronado Springs is a nice buffet - Kona has a good breakfast.

Have a great time.

I think you would enjoy Kona at the Poly and then you can catch the monorail:thumbsup2

This would be my suggestion also. Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is another option, but I'd choose Maya Grill or Pepper Market. I personally think these three are the only restaurants that aren't too far out of the way & impractical in the OP's situation.

I never knew this and I thought I had memorized every single menu out there!

I didn't know that either. Good to know, if we ever decide to stay there again. ::yes::

Some good ones that we loved that are non-character breakfasts:
Fresh Mediterranean Market at the Dolphin.
Spoodles at the Boardwalk.
Kona Cafe at Polynesian.

Fresh Mediterranean was really nice; choose from either the buffet or menu. No characters though.

We will have a rental car, and plan to have a ECV for my husband for the parks. He is mobile, but cannot do a lot of walking. The day we arrive we are going to Epcot since the Food and Wine are there. Dinner at Boma at 7:15.

We are going back to Epcot the following day. I have 2:55 lunch at LeCellier and 7;30 dinner at Biergarten all booked for that day. With those two meals, maybe our breakfast ought to be a little lighter one since we'll be tasting at the F + W. Or we can be stuffed all day !

We could drive to Kona, but we couldn't leave the car all day there could we? I kind of like the idea of using the monorail to get to Epcot, but is that practical ? We could drive to Kona, then go back to CSR and use the bus for the rest of the day.

So many choices , so many decisions.

The following day ( our last day),we are having breakfast at Boma, lunch at Tusker House.

Can you tell we are using the DPP ? I appreciate all of your suggestions.
