Best night for Fantasmic?

We'll be at WDW Sept 30 - Oct 6. We've never been to Fantasmic and really want to see it this time. I know about the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg and may try and book that, but I still want to know if there's a better night of the week to try and see it? I was wondering if it'd possibly be less crowded on the MNSSHP nights as lots of people would be going to that event. Any ideas?

I would think a MNSSHP would be a great night. However, usually the theater is either full or so close you won't notice a difference anyway. If you decide to book the dinner package you'll decrease your overall waiting time no matter which night you go.

I picked them because they're weekdays so that means less locals, which means the park (& Fantasmic!) will be less crowded. Also, those days aren't traditional "travel days" (such as Fri or Sun) where you have new people coming in for that week. I hope that makes some sense.

I agree, keep in mind it is Columbus Day Weekend! I wonder if they would schedule 2 Fantasmics?

just my take on this - Fantasmic can be cancelled because of bad weather so we always plan it on one of the first few nights so if it is cancelled we still have time to get back to catch it.

Good Point. Also if they run the show 2x in one night go to the 10:30 show since it is usually less crowded.
