Best/Nearest Grocery Store to WDW

Thanks in advance... anyone know what grocery stores are nearby to WDW? Hoping to UBER over on our next trip to pick up some supplies.

Best would be Publix. But not the closest. There is a Walmart pretty close that’s open 24 hours.

Publix is my fav. They have Indian River O.J. Best oj ever. And a good Key Lime Pie too!

Thank you everyone. I'm from Canada, and I don't know the names of the grocery stores in Florida. That helps so much.

@igrsod, where on property are you staying? The answer to closest is highly variable depending on your resort.

Agree that Publix is the best chain of grocery stores in the area; on a par with any good Loblaws or Sobeys. They always rate in the top 5 chains by the major consumer magazine publication. I can think of 5 Publix within an easy drive of WDW depending on which gate you are exiting the property from. There are also several good Super WalMart and Super Target options nearby. I would most certainly NOT recommend Goodings at the Crossroads plaza just off site; this place is an overpriced tourist trap. There is also a Winn-Dixie nearby on 535 but it is not quite as nice as the Publix stores in the area.

ETA: there is also a Whole Foods fairly nearby if you have any specialty needs. We used to shop there as DS has a food allergy, but Publix now carries more specialty options for him than WF does.

Expect food prices in Florida to be pretty similar to Canada. That is actually high for the US overall, but shouldn't be too big a shock coming from a fairly expensive area already.
